Man, this one took forever. I never won a single component. It was the main reason I played those events everyday, still didn't win a single comp. It was expensive as hell to produce. 950k x6 = 5.7M every 3 days. Doesn't seem that bad but what if you had upgrades going. 56M for the bot. And then you have 4 Heavy's.. wowzas. Truth is, Heavy's cost just as much as lights and mediums since it's all tiered, so you're getting a lot of bang for your silver. Now I fully intend on doing the Tempest build here, but since I don't have 4 of those yet, and this a Behemoth topic, I have to present something different. I like the vipers/Tridents combo we see here. Behemoth needs a fair bit of distance when in siege mode. 500M minimum, but I'd prefer more. Also, if you're going to use two different weapon types, that's fine, but you want your melee DPS always ready, and you want your siege weapons to further distance yourself, along with considering reload times. I don't even know where I got the paint job from but I was excited to see I had it. The regular paint is too Fury-like. This is more like a construction caterpillar, which suits the style.

Behemoth is a fun bot, but dies easily on small maps. If you only maintain one hanger, perhaps there isn't a spot for it. It's only good for the large-map hanger or fun hanger imo.

Tempests seems like a fun build. Maybe I'll throw some Au into a couple. I have two already. Flux would be a good revenge build. I hated those things coming up. Maybe I'll build a few of them to keep the WS going.

I won Behemoth from an event chest on my Smurf account. Because it's my Smurf account I have few spare weapons so I got 4 Tridents.
I use him mostly in TDM. Very satisfying to pick off Ao Juns and Leeches who think they are safe behind cover.

I mostly use 4x Glaciers for CQB and 4x Flux as a sniper, but Tridents look fun. That Viper / Trident combo seems very good, especially as the Tridents auto-reload while on the back. Vipers do max damage at about 400m I think? So it's a good 400-600m build. I don't have any Tempests on main server. Behemoth builds I've tried and like include: - 4x Glacier
- 3x Glacier + 1x corner shooter (like a Calamity that can hit at so many different angles)
- 4x Flux (my best sniper build atm)
- 4x Viper
- 4x Avenger
- 4x Chimera
- 4x Exodus (looks good with Loader paintjob)
- 4x Redeemer
- 4x Tempest (on the test server only)
- 4x Calamity (on the test server only)
I'm rather curious about Tridents and Trebuchets too. (By the way, they were giving away a free Behemoth Loader skin on YouTube to everyone who participated in the giveaway some time ago.)

My current all-around Behemoth Pilot: • Road Hog to move at optimal speed • Mechanic to keep healing at all times • Module Expert and Foolhardy Quartermaster to Double Phase Shift (e.g. to beat Leeches at CQB). • Module Expert and Dodger for effective use of Quantum Radar (e.g. to hunt Ao Juns with Flux) and Lock-Down Ammo (e.g. to fully kill a bot in one burst) • Guidance Operator to lock-on faster when when using Calamity, Chimera, Thermite or Zeus And my current all-around Module loadout: - Lv6 Last Stand to unleash 4 heavy weapons while invincible
- A second Lv1 Last Stand to prevent the loss of weapons
- Anticontrol to prevent Lockdown and Suppression
- Phase Shift to position myself into red strongholds, and to avoid enemy fire. Also useful for fighting Leeches and avoiding damage while a red is Last Standing.
But I use up to 3x Nuclear Reactors along with Quantum Radar or Lock-Down Ammo when long range snipering.

With basil, I'd give it armor expert (it has a lot of health) and sharpshooter. Most my bots run 2 skills, a couple will have 3, maybe 4 if it's skill heavy (Lancelot, bulwark).
Not into the module spam. Road hog won't do a whole lot for a bot that sieges often and is slower to begin with.

I'd like to hear how quad Tempests are doing against AMs. I hope they are Shrederiffic!
I have a Mk1 lvl 7 Bahama Momma, but the thought of leveling 4 tempests hurts my head. That's a lot of AG for what may be a "meh" build against AMs.
Your reportage appreciated.

A quad Zeus behemoth packs one freaking wallop, it’s really good for making leech and ares players panic, attacks hey get hit and instantly scramble for cover. It’s hilarious.

Quad Tridents was another Quad Zeus alternative I was interested in trying too.
My current Behemoth pilot is a whimsical compromise, and I had to replace my much beloved Armor Expert for Guidance Operator.

Then 3 and 4... Probably keep rocking the vipers and siege the 2 Tempests until then. It shouldn't cost that much to get somewhere. Lv8 is 8M and lv9 is 13M. That's where I cap it.

I do have 3 Zeus already on a Fury. Those sit at 8 and will eventually make it 9-10 when NE switches over (Zeus are only tier 2) See, with 5 second reloads I would want the mobility all the time. By the time you'd siege in and out you'd already reload.

I'm currently levelling up Basil Lapatte for a second Behemoth. But maybe I should go with a second Adrian Chong in case I run other weapons. I came upon red one on Valley, sitting on the middle beacon. Quad Vipers. I didn't stick around and see how effective it was! It's effective, but note that only splash weapons (like Glacier, Exodus, Ember, Trident, Avalanche) can hit bots like Phantoms at point blank, as all your weapons stupidly point down and shoot at the floor.

Flux is the only other weapon to hit 1100M, and it has more DPM than Trebs.
Lately I've been using gekkos to Lockdown Ammo an entire red team in one swipe... 「dookie」, you only need one gekko.

...yup. Gekko Hover, Gekko Raven and Flux Ao Jun are nice for that. My Flux Behemoth has been outright killing some red beacon runners across the map before they can grab home beacons too. My biggest quandary is Quantum Radar or Lockdown Ammo.

So I'm 20% into 4th Tempest. I got basil yesterday, woo! I slapped on a Flux in place of the 4th tempest (for seige) and Behemoth is already proving its worth. I've been using Lockdown Ammo, and even before sharpshooter (gotta wait for the 4th Tempest to specify skills for Basil), I've gotten attention of reds from out to 800M already. The guns are only lv8 and it's already chewing ?dookie? up. I even shut down a maxed Ming by just keeping him back with Lockdown Ammo and under pressure. He tried to come closer and I just locked him again and walked back. The Flux is pretty silly too because I can lock multiple reds no matter how far they have.
The Vipers went to Raijin for now, I'll build a Weyland after the final Tempest is done. There's another day for that topic...

I'm finally getting this SOB done in a few hours.
I was gonna WS the last 4 groups but ?fluffernutter? that, it's 1M to end it now
Got the gold to get sharpshooter for basil right away. He's been 10 waiting. Ain't even gonna fuss with random 50's. Unless I get it or speed on open...

I'm on my third Flux. I have two in the center. It looks like he's trying to put on a pair of jeans over his head. I dunno if I'll actually get around to running it. I like to keep my WS running. I just won my second B-moth yesterday from SC. I might keep it and put Tempests on it.

Well it's done. Gonna speed up that tempest today and try to get basil up to get the full benefit of sharpshooter.
I'll just leave it at 8 for a bit while I focus on finishing hangar 4 to 8.
Or I could just jump straight into the passives for it and unlock the 3rd at 9. Hmmm

I currently have two Level 9 Behemoths with Sapphire, Loader and Komainu paint jobs, a Level 70 Adrian Chong and a Level 60+ Basil Lapatte in training. Other than all Flux, Tempest and Trebuchet builds, some decent sniper hybrids seem to be: - 2x Tempests on the sides with 2x Flux or 2x Trebuchets on the back (they can be left to charge while walking around with Tempests firing)
- 2x Fluxes on the sides with 2x Trebuchets on the back (rapid in-and-out firing during Siege Mode)
One successful troll build seems to be: • 2x Flux on the sides with 2x Glaciers on the back (it can generally light up then pulverise reds (even Phantoms) hoping for an easy kill).

I miss the variety that the Behemoth represents. Even on Yamantau everybody sends their Phantom to the center, then wave after wave of Leeches, then AMs, then the match is over.
You can't easily get a beacon in a Behemoth. TDM is a whole other evil story.

Behemoths can shoot over random things, like this large boxy thingy: (the boxy thing also protected me from the Ao Ming's Plasma) Glaciers also pack enough punch to pop some Titans: It can corner shoot with a Heavy weapon and even shoot around both sides of these TDM thingies: I've temporarily had my fill of fast bots and I'm running two Behemoths for the moment.
