I'm struggling with my regular Falcon, but will get used to it and stop playing it like a T-Falcon. Takes me a while to adjust to changes. They are pretty much completely different mechs. One thing that helps me is to change paint jobs when I switch the pilot, I see the orange and I know I have the wings available, black for pounding in the mud. I sprung for the 5 buck falcon last week, so now I get to run both. First time I will have two of the same bot in the lineup since multiple griffins were a must have.

Just wanted to post about how awesome Falcon is. Today, to change some things up, I went back to 3x Avenger Falcon, which re activated my Sharpshooter skill. Whoa. I forgot what a nasty beast it is, and never realized it can ruin a Titans day, ez like. Might be time to run 2 of these, Avenger and Viper......but, I’ll wait until I see how hard Avengers are nerfed first...... Yup, even up in Champions League V, I hit a couple of 2x, 3x Godlikes with it. That nerf it gonna hurt a bit, but it’s been a long time coming. Like many know, once they are spooled up, Avengers DPS hit almost as hard as Exos! And they have a much larger clip.

Month end update. Yup, Falcons can fly just fine in upper Champions League and I may return to this hanger for future upgrades. But for the next month, I’ll go back to mixing it up, run Ao Jun a bit before the nerf and get reacquainted with my Tesla Phantom. The Avenger and DB builds were known entities, with Ember/Glacier being my fav DB. Viper and Tempest builds were new territory and both exceeded expectations. I’ve decided to go all in on the Viper one and will probably max it out next Overdrive weekend. And even though it’s NE, I’ll probably bump that 3rd Tempest to Mk2 as well. It really annoys AMs, lol. And in case you missed it. I gave up tFalc, converting Cormac to my full time Viper pilot. And I like the Viper build so much, it’s in my main hanger atm, not sure I can give that one up just yet. Keep em flying y’all. Also, keep the questions, tips and general Falcon chit chat going.

Hello. My name Is Kevin, and I'm a T-Falc addict. I caved into the T-Falc habit, again. It feels good, but I know it's wrong. Please help me escape this demon.

Do exactly as I say......get a second pilot, equip it for fangs out skills, throw on Vipers or Avengers, to start, then enjoy! Save your T Fal pilot for those needs to relapse....but, in time, you shall stick with jumping, killing and smiling! No thanks necessary......I’m here to help!

Good news, this morning I re-committed to my Fangs Out Falcon. He is equipped with Glaciers and is usually my first drop depending on map. With my new "fun to me" hangar, this is a wonderful fit. I will reserve my second Falcon to be the T-Falc should I feel the need.

Just relax and get used to killing bots and writing down the pilot names. Bring lots of paper. And Power Cells. Lots of Advanced Healing Power Cells.

I did so love taking long walks in the rain of bullets and rockets and flames with it. Torturing and trolling lovingly teaching the reds that hey have to defend their home beacon, but also learn balance. Because if all of you come to defend your home against this one cute little TFalc, what happens to rest of the beacons? I also enjoyed the fear in the eyes training sessions with Ares, Leeches, Ao Juns as I walked into their bubble, outwaited their repulse, patiently waited for landing...ah good times I've had with the T-Falc indeed. For the longest time I ran a 2.12 Glory. Switched it up to a 1.10 Ember and it was good. Now my TFalc has become a Glacier Falcon, and enjoys taking short walks in dappled sunlight popping in and out of cover, moving constantly to be harder to hit, etc.

Cover is for those jumpy, ballerina Falcons. The ones that might break a nail talon when they land. The one thing I really like about TFalc is that it's an all-in Tank. There isn't a single normal size bot that scares me. Even Leech/pre-nerf Storm was a minor flesh wound. Anyway, if I had real skills I wouldn't TFalc. Know thy self.

Always fun to make fun of the lumbering tank that is tFalc, but...it does require some skill, it can use cover, and can even partially corner shoot. When I ran one for real, it had a maxed AC mod and the pilot had RH and AdRH skills, pretty damned fast for a tank. Great for late game diversions like walking the covered ramp on Yaman all the way to red spawn beacon. edit - the main skill is knowing when and where to deploy it for max effectiveness.

Grandpas tell their grandkids about how much they hate my TFalc on center at Yamantau. The stories are so scary the kids look for TFalcs under their beds at night.

Howdy folks, I thought I would ask for some advice on my first Falcon build. I’m just back to the game after over a year away, so just trying to get my hanger back into workable order. ⓣⓡⓘⓒⓚⓨ48 suggested I upgrade a Falcon I had and have a good read of this thread to get up to speed, which I have. There is clearly a lot of Falcon knowledge/ Falcon love, so I reckon I got some good advice. Anyway, she is upgrading faster than I thought, using vids to speed it up (not sure if I should be doing that, but I genuinely don’t know any better), so she will be a 9 in a couple of days. My issue is I would like her to be a brawler, but I don’t yet have the heavy weapons for most of the better builds suggested here. She will, in the short term anyway, have to be either a range build or a frankinbuild of some sort. I thought I might throw out some options and ask you good folks for some advice. (just for reference I,m bringing up the rear in champs at the moment, most of my old bots making up the rest of the hanger are 10/12, 12/12.). So my options: At range: - Dragoons, have 3, 2@1.12 and the other at 1.8 (don’t mid leaving this a bit if it’s the right answer). I am currently running these on a Bulwark, but can repurpose it as a brawler. - Tempests, have 3 @ 1.10, ran them on a fury back in the day, but stopped as they were very average, back then anyway. - Zeus or Flux (doesn’t sound like a good idea) but I have 3 of each @ 1.10 - my six pack hanger has a load of tridents and trebs, but would need to level up. Brawler Wepons: - Thunders 3 @ 1.10 - One Avenger at 1.12 and another as yet unlevelled. (I hear there is a nerf coming, but I really like the idea of running these either on this or the Bulwark) - One ember @ 1.12 and a second one as yet unlevelled. - two exodus, neither levelled. - one unlevelled Redeemer. - Have 1.11 Anciles aswell, not sure if that is a thing? I am also currently making Vipers in the workshop, but it looks like they will take quite a long time. So just trying to get some thoughts on short, medium and long term options for the build. At this point know very little about pilots but i did figured out what the TFalcon is. Not sure I would like it (have no idea how easy or hard it is to obtain Traditionalist, so not even sure if it’s an option for me). Any advise appreciated Sean

I’m jelly.....3x Goons can dominate, and that range let’s ya.....
Start with that. See how things go for awhile. Avengers getting nerfed next patch drop, so don’t do much to those for awhile.
Better yet....give me your Goons........

Any advise appreciated Sean Welcome to Club-Falcon, an elite breed of Commander that craves that fast-paced action and high risk-high reward play style. Yeah, with vids speeding the upgrade, level 9 happens pretty quickly. It's that grind from 9+ that kills ya on both time and Ag. Before I recommend weapons, I will point out that for pouncing a maxed Last Stand goes a looonng way. An expensive investment, but instrumental to improving the Classic Falcon's effectiveness. Obviously not as necessary in longer ranged builds. Vipers seem like a great investment, I don't see a ton of em in Champions League, which should mitigate future nerf risk. 3 Viper is my current fav overall build. Great accuracy even past 400m and strong enough to handle brawling in a pinch. For long range, I really like my Tempest build, but I had 2x 2.12 from OE and took the 3rd to 1.11. I can see 1.10 being underwhelming. Basil pilot def helps and Sharpshooter skill is an absolute must - 51% accuracy at 700m vs a Griffin or similar sized hit box. For mid range, 3 Goons or Zeus center w Goon talons works great. Don't use Zues in the talons because the fire rate misses a third shot by about 1s. With the equipment you have, this might be a good start. For brawling, Ember is great and I use Ember/Glacier as my DB build. For heavy brawling, 3 Avengers is still my go to and even nerfed, I'll probably still run it.

Thanks guys, sounds like I’ll run the Goons first as a mid ranger while I get a few more upgrades in (that 11 & 12 will take me a while) and get some brawling heavies sorted out. Actually got my first Last Stand our of a chest the other day and was trying to figure out what to do with it (maxing it might take a longer while though). Rollo Tomasi did you ever try any sort of a ember/ avenger combo? I only ask as I could get that working relatively quickly, even just as an interim while working towards something else? Thanks again for the advice.

Thanks again for the advice. Rumor is that there will be an Overdrive weekend in a couple weeks. Start saving now for upgrading that Last Stand. Instead of 200M to max it out, only 150. What a bargain, lol. I generally don’t mix weapons that operate differently. Ember requires leading moving targets, while Avenger needs direct aiming. If you are in really CQC, or vs slow/stationary targets, they would work.

I blame you for this Rollo Tomasi: Re-purposed from T-Fal and plenty of fun. Now in my main hangar. Even at level 9... this bird ain't no pigeon. And all skill rolls were lucky randoms. Normally I wouldn't have gotten Speedshooter before sharpshooter, for instance, but I am just letting things happen to see how it goes. So far I am happy. When I get my 2 extra Vipers finished leveling... Think I am gonna pump those Glaciers up... they are mad fun on this beast, and already are pretty damn damaging. IMO, YMMV
