One of my boys is playing a game sitting across my desk from me Only a minute or so in he got all excited, as he was seeing one of the new bots in a game for the first time. I asked him which one it was. "It's the invulnerable one. It's about to die" ?? Doesn't sound very invulnerable to me!

They nerfed it before it came out but mk2 it runs pretty well .I believe best set up for it is 3 cryo. But its definitely not invincible for sure. Its probably one of the more balanced bots they have brought out in a while.

It is quite playable. Can 1 vs 1 tango with leech and come out walking alive. It just can’t stand there and absorb dmg like leech does. Otherwise, like what i mentioned in other thread, i can do 5 phase shifts (include abilities) before i go flat and becomes truly vulnerable.

Have come across one in battle, seemed not to OP. Used its phase shift to get close to me but I managed to take its full health down to its last stand then died, other team member then killed it. I initially thought that as only just released it was low level hence it dying quite quick however on checking after battle it was max MK2, Maxed MK2 weapons and maxed last stand. Hard to judge after seeing one only once but I do not think it will be no where new as problematic as leech or phantom, good but not OP (unless it gets buffed) From recent past it seems an OP bot will be released every couple of releases for example loki, tyr, fenrir are good but not OP then comes along Leech. Seems to be the case with these resent releases. Of course I have been known to be wrong on occasion

Then the big nerf hit and the increase in energy weapons meant it was super soft. Never got it past level 7. To hear it is better thaN Ravana, all be it with the Legendary pilot, is very interesting.

I would say ravana is slightly more fun. I have a mk 2 haechi with Legendary Pilot but its back in the storage. Ravana is more of an assassin and gets out alive easier.

I'm just glad it's not overpowered and it requires skill to play but it is very rewarding. I feel like it's the new Inquisitor in terms of sneaking around and killing Bots.

I feel like it's the new Inquisitor in terms of sneaking around and killing Bots. *EVERY* bot requires skill to play *well*, and no, not overpowered...but “very rewarding”? “The new Inquisitor”? Sounds like we’re talking about COMPLETELY DIFFERENT BOTS...for one, I wouldn’t call it “rewarding” - very or not. Perhaps, lacking a maxed MK2 rollout in my hangar, I simply can’t appreciate this thing like you can

Doing a lot of damage != skill. Leeching and then hitting the phase 「dookie」 button != skill. Having massive damage reduction while at the same time, handing out a lot of damage != skill. A level 7 Leech versus my level 7 Ravana (I won one from Reddit, wouldn't have bought it), now that's a different story.

I agree, pretty much any max/mk2 rig is going to require *less* skill, as you point out so well, than a less-optimized bot.
My point was that whatever level skill Ravana ends up requiring, it is nothing like Inquisitor, they ARE completely different machines, they have different strengths and weaknesses, they play very differently. I’m glad josh378 decided that it’s “very rewarding”, but for that he must have had one longer than I have, and possibly at a higher level-six.
For now, I’m entertained. That’s enough, for now.

Mine is just lvl 7 so take this with a grain of salt but I find it pretty underwhelming. It's very slow when its ability is not active, and its HP pool is pretty low, so sure, you can burst in and kill a bot, but that's probably as good as you can hope for. I all honesty, I think the Invader does what this bot is supposed to do much better.

We have at least one in our clan. I warned the guy it was squishy. The report last night is that he's liking it and finds that it gives Leeches a hard time. Time will tell.

mmm ya, idk why anyone thinks they are tough and can compete with meta...
playing one since release, and I can 100% say with confidence, even pre meta bots can out dmg, out maneuver, and outplay the Ravana. kinda sad.
