Two TRIDENTS for $3.00... worth it? I don't know much about heavy weapons. Yeah I think so. That's potentially 2500 Au's worth of stuff (2 x 1000 + 500 purchase bonus) for 3 bucks.
Tridents are tricky to aim but pack a mean punch and are in the cheapest tier to upgrade. Great weapons for TDM.

Nobody uses tridents anymore I do. On Bulwark they are lethal. Same. I use them every game, the trident bully is in my hanger every game. Before I had the bully i used a tulu/trident lance. The splash and range of trdents can still dominate an area and force reds into hiding. |

The splash is almost nonexistent since they got nerfed. They’re slow moving rockets. It’s very easy to avoid. Poor choice of heavy in the current meta.

With careful aim you can still tag reds seeking cover in spite of the tiny splash. I still 「fluffernutter」 up the opposition with my TT Falcon pretty good! He's one of my semi-permanent lineup bots. I have tried replacing the Tridents with other weapons before, but I don't like those other configurations. The only thing that might be better would be triple Dragoons, but that would be hella expensive. My Tridents are maxed, so if I can land all 18 rockets on the target while my fangs are out, that's about 170k damage. I still land a decent number of hits on targets behind walls. Tridents are really a skill weapon these days, and Falcons are uniquely able to make good use of them with their agility and jumping. My active module is also shieldbreaker, which I use to ruin many a Bulwark's day. My Falcon's pilot skills are the Cormac 10% center gun bonus, Mechanic, Armor Expert, Wonderworker, and Road Hog. If gold were no object, I would get him Gunsmith and Master Gunsmith just to add an additional 5% more firepower. |

Yeah, those Stings are making my finger twitch. I have very few light weapons that are not leadhose. Coffee first then decide. I decided. I want them. Now I just need some discounted Wasps. Guess what!? Discounted Wasps showed up today for $5 each. I bit hard on that! I am transitioning my Tyr away from Sparks and Scourges to Sting/Wasp. I only keep my Tyr in my main hangar to steal the 300 honor prize for top durability repaired every match by doing a small amount of healing. These corrosion weapons are much more suited to staying out of the fray and only showing oneself for a second or two. Tyr's lack of DR makes me want to expose myself as little as possible. In addition, 600m weapons with a DOT are preferred to combat plasma AMs, as opposed to weapons that require constant exposure. |

Today, we have a Haechi with Arctic paint job and Elsa, I mean, Amalia, to pilot it. We also have a $2.99 Hellburner with a cool paint job. I have always thought Hellburner was ugly AF, and I never liked it from a gameplay standpoint either.
I did have a 99 cent for 500 gold deal yesterday, which doesn't show up very often on FBGR. The 1000 gold for 99 cents never show up on FBGR.

I always use the 1100 au for $0.99 scale which you can get about once ever 3 weeks if you don't spend any money. So depends if you can wait for that you would save $0.50 each. |
