With update 5.7 you might noticed that War Robots now locked your FPS to 30 while also lowering image quality at the same time. I'll show you the steps to improve image quality and unlock FPS. LDPlayer has device presets. Even if you fake your emulator to the game as an S10, the game will load low res textures, low res texts and low res icons. To improve image quality and to remove the 30FPS cap, you can fake your emulator as a OnePlus 7 Pro. I am not really into Android, and I don't know which devices are the fastest on the market, I picked this model based on another thread hereYou can find all the Android models and manufacturers here you can pick from (download the .csv file) in case you want to fake a different model from the one I use in the example, Resolution set to 1080p, cpu to 4 Core, ram to 8GB, these will be different based on your computer's hardware for you. I could use 16GB ram, but I did not see any performance improvement from assigning more ram to the emulator.
Here is how it looks with Galaxy S10 preset: You can notice that the framerate is locked 30, textures and texts/icons on the hud are washed out. You have to edit the device model and manufacturer to fix this (see the linked csv file for possible models above). On the image below, OnePlus is the manufacturer name (no space!), GM1917 is the model number for OnePlus 7 Pro. You can generate a new IMEI just to be safe, I tried it with and without changing it, made no difference for me, the settings applied correctly. After changing model to OnePlus 7 Pro: This was a mayor graphical improvement, and a minor framerate improvement. After this change, my framerate was all over 30-45 FPS, which is still below what I had before update 5.7.
To further improve your framerate, go to game settings and enable high framerate mode:
After this change, my FPS improved again

I don't currently use an emulator, but am considering it... if i understand this correctly, LDPlayer4 is a competitor to Bluestacks? my smurf account is Steam, but the steam player base is so small, my gold league account gets matched with champ1 games nonstop! it is silly. may consider this if it is more stable than waht I hear about Bluestacks...

I use LDPlayer 3 since a December, I had crash maybe once or twice. I have 2 other emulators installed to watch ADs, so I am not sure that it was on LDPlayer. I only remember crashing out from an AD, never mid match. I did try War Robots on steam a year ago on a smurf, but MM is bad, so I gave up on that one too
LDPlayer 4 came out ~10 days ago, and I only updated today, so I don't know how stable this new version will be

integeritis are you using default keyboard layout or customized ? Because each time War Robots app tries to put me using default Steam/FB Gameroom style keyboard layout which I don't want to. I have been using LDPlayer 3.79.3 where physical keyboard is correctly detected, but this new 4.0.11 and its newer android version is working somehow differently. In android settings, there is no similar keyboard related settings to set the Hardware keyboard like is in 3.79.3. When I start a battle or custom battle this is what I see next:  and then...  I can get my custom keyboard layout to work by repeatedly pressing WASD keys until game app notifies it and says "Controls changed: TOUCHSCREEN":  After that all works like before with 3.79.3 version. Then when emulator is restarted, same WASD keydance have to be done again to get the "touchscreen" controls active. I have not found a solution how to get my hardware keyboard to be detected right away to avoid this madness. I've been using several emulators throughout the years with this game. I think android 7.1.2 in this new LDPlayer build is the reason behind all this. Older 3.79.3 uses android 5.1 and works flawlessly.

I have this issue too. First battle after opening the game always requires the completion of the movement tutorial. I don't know a solution for this IMO the "show mapping instruction when game starts" checkbox should do the trick, but it does not do anything for me. I think it is a bug, I hope they will fix this.

To the OP thank you I have just changed the settings about to try a game. derps I have tried bluestacks and others and never had much luck I had trouble binding keys etc. but LDPlayer is working just fine for me with the only real issue is lag (occasionally). I was playing on Gameroom for the last 3 years and yes while it is good to be able to play on the PC with a keyboard and mouse Gameroom misses out on all the android features. So far I'm happy with LDPlayer. |

I have contacted LDPlayer's creators in their FB pag before this very recent version about this "issue" if we can call it like that. Probably have to contact again and make some more detailed explanation in case they figure out how to go around this - if it even is possible. |

How you manage to make the keyboard working in LD player 4? I cant use the keyboard. Maybe after 1-2min after spaming WSAD buttons it will work . |

Sorry, I did not see the last few replies. You have to make a circle by pressing W-WD-D-DS-S-SA-A-AW in this order, simulating the movement you’d do on a mobile phone, do it smoothly only lifting one of your fingers when the next button is already pressed by another finger. You don’t have to smash that keybord, it did not hurt you!  I think I also found a solution to avoid having to make the tutorial, but it might not work for you with multi bot hangars. I make the cursor disappear by pressing ctrl during the loading screen/before dropping my bot. I play a 1 bot hangar, so I don’t have to select a bot before battle, the game automatically selects the only bot I have. Not sure about the timing with bot selection, try to make the cursor disappear as soon as possible after you choose a bot, maybe it will work and you can avoid the tutorial |

Been a long time since I've dropped by here, but, as usual, I've found this forum to be extremely useful. Glad to say that I've at least got something to give back in return right now. I know, it's a little late for this discussion, but if somebody reads it and it's useful, that would make me happy. :-)
Many people have recently Had success doing various semi complicated keyword remappings in War Robots by using Microsoft's latest power tools as a wedge to make things work the way they want to. And while I was reading about one guy's joy for finally getting his keyboard and controller remapped properly, I learned an even cooler thing that you can do, again using Microsoft's Power Toys as a bit of a wedge. PC players on Steam usually use the WASD keyboard setup along with a right-handed mouse. Forget that! Get yourself a left-handed mouse, plug it in and map that baby too, so you can oh-so-precisely control your bots with an ultra-cool and accurate dual mice control configuration when you're playing War Robots!
This is a perfect control setup for me, because I'm now old enough that I've lost a Noticeable amount of sensitivity in my fingertips, and I often lose my left hand home position over the WASD keys. I much prefer playing in a dark man cave, rather than in a well lit environment, LOL so this becomes a major issue whenever my hand loses its position. You wouldn't believe how difficult it is for me to reposition my hand properly without any light around me. I start yelling at my bots, and it just goes downhill from there. But, dual mice? Heck yeah! :-)

Also, for those of you that don't remember me dropping by briefly around here maybe a year or two ago, I'm the guy that was a huge Mender fanatic back then. I remember when I very first heard the term "Murder Turtle" used, right here on this very forum. I went on to preach about International Mender Appreciation Day and such things. I still love my Mender, but I must admit that these days I get the most joy from rolling dirty in my Hellbender. There is literally nothing more fun than pulling up to a handful of Reds hanging out by a boulder, looking at them briefly and then shouting "PULL MY FINGER!" as I explode and causing damage and death all around, then quickly leave the scene of my crime to go searching for some more new friends. LOL! And you know what I thought of this morning? I hope someday Pixonic develops the "HellMender!
