I think there should be a modifier to your league score after a match if you are ever matched through any reason with anyone whose score is above you.
For example in a match the highest League guy is Gold 1 and you are Silver 1. You should get a +1 modifier for every league difference giving a total modifier of +3. So If you final score is say 12 you will get a +3 for 15 if you win or if you lose and gat a -10 you will instead get -7.

That won't work because the MM will most likely put in a mix of players in a game. There will be couple of above average guys, couple below average, and couple in the middle.

In ELO this is called K factor, and if Pix had implemented it then leagues gains might be a bit more balanced for these out of band matches. The issue is no one would be able to understand their league score without a calculator (I kid you not). It also wouldn't deal with the fact that the system is closed (a fixed number of points) and that these out of band matches are probably how points are moved through the system.

It's a zero sum point total so you have to deduct those points from someone, presumably the higher tier player.

Under the current system it is always the lowest tiered guys on the match that will end up losing everytime. There should be an incentive too whenever you squad up with higher tiered clanmates.
