Wow! That was a shocker. Thought I was seeing things.? 5 no shows between the two teams. Not sure what Pix is thinking here. Guess we need an updated damage chart.

I've been seeing that today too, was going to comment on it. Looks like Pix adjusted the server to be more aggressive about replacing quitters, to the point of replacing people who quit even after the 15 second countdown (when it used to be considered 'final'). If nothing else, this will help reduce the game-ruining effects of tankers, so it's got that going for it.

8 on 8 would certainly make things interesting. Would give "battlefield awareness" a whole new meaning.
Only fought 2 battles and haven't actually seen an 8 on 8 match.

The extra players to replace quitters. On the field it is 6 vs 6. good move from pixo

What's the point of showing the quitters though, they know what they are doing and it won't bother them one bit

Those of us who don't take their toys and go home because we get dropped on a map we don't like appreciate the effort.

I don't think it's showing players who skipped the map I think it's more who started the game and just stood there and didn't play. These are the players Pix need to route out

I looked around the second match on Yama because I was curious. Only 6 of us standing there, but 8 showed up in the stats. Wonder if it only shows up on the long maps because no one drops out on the short maps.

Surely Pix knows people skip certain maps though without having the need to display the names, are you meaning people who leave after the ten seconds is up?,I know I rarely play Yama because I have no long range set up and find it a hard battle for a sure fire loss, but I always skip during the countdown

I'd like to see every single player chucked into the same battle. Hundreds of bots vs hundreds of bots of every level and type for a real Lord of the Rings/Braveheart/Excalibur etc style chaotic battle slug fest with mounds of destroyed bots.

Slightly off topic, but I did have an odd match last week where I had connection issues. I went back and forth, in and out of the game, until I reconnected. I had to select a new bot, but I was back in the game. The strange thing was, my old bot was still there. There were seven blues, and two Heavy Pandas. Me driving the new bot, and my old bot just standing there. I even walked around it once. Not sure if others could see it too, or only me.
Anyway, back on topic, nice to see Pix dropping in players to try to always get to 5vs5 or 6vs6. Powerplay games are just so unfair to both sides.

I played 8 straight battles and all had six pilots listed each side? I did have some tankers in a couple matches. heavypanda! Played with some of your BlackOps brothers! The damages were way low, the battle was so quick with the reds down 2 tankers. On SF map. Attachment Deleted

heavypanda! Played with some of your BlackOps brothers! Nice! Those are some of the expert league guys too, so you really handled yourself well there! I have played against that Botslivesmatter guy from Fallen too. The name always cracks me up.

Won 8 straight and moved my War Robots up to 66%! Had a few very low damage battles & that ave dropped to just below 400k (no worries). I have moved solidly into Diamond III now, 3450 points. Changed my weapons loadout and working well!!
