Which is it? The Ao Jun is fine and balanced we all just need better situational awareness or the Ao Jun is OP and pix can do whatever it wants get over it? It cant be both. If you cant deal with the Ao Jun just quit, there I said it happy? you want to keep beating this dead horse? If you cant build your own Ao Jun then you suck, if you cant figure out how to avoid them and wait for them to land then you suck, if you cant run a dedicated bot with Quantum Radar you suck. You suck because all you do is focus on problems instead of solutions and when given them you cry NO WAY! That is my take. There are allot bigger problems with this game than the Ao Jun get a grip. Please flame away tell me how wrong I am and spout some prophetic words. I will read them but I will not answer you in this thread again. Bye now. I run legacy and beat up on the meta daily. I took a hangar of silver bots with silver weapons to android champion league. I know how to play the game. Probably better than you do. I run an Aphex Griffin just to make Ao Jun pilots miserable. None of this changes the fact that the bot is broken and in need of a nerf. Being able to deal with an OP bot by minimizing your exposure to it and attacking it in the scant window is is sorta vulnerable does not mean that the bot is balanced. The Ao Jun is OP. It needs a nerf. To claim otherwise is delusional.

If you are still running Griffs and Leo's as your top bots just quit now. Sorry but I dont have time for the crying. If this is all you have it is your own damn fault. I see. What are these other bots thinking being so weak compared to the Ao Jun? It's all these other bots that are the problem. Just use the one other completely broken bot to counter the Ao Jun and/or also use the Ao Jun. This is proof that the Ao Jun is fine and balanced. I don't use Griffs and Leos, but in my Golem I take out Ao Jun's... with 600m weapons.
Strider, Blitz, Mender, however, I can hit them up close and take them out.
In my Falcon (Avenger) I can take them out.
In my Lance (Calamity + Scourge) I can take them out.
Ao Jun's are definitely strong and the game is def unbalanced... but to say that the measuring stick is "how do things compare with Legacy bots" is denying that anything from the Dash bots, on, happened. Perfect Balance is no longer attainable. But Ao Jun's are not so far overweighted on the scales that they are impossible to beat.
Nerfing it will prolly happen, but as was said, not until there is something else to sell into its primary META position. Leech took the Ares' spot... something else will grab the Ao Jun's.

The nerf to the Dash bots and Specter went a long ways to help balance them out with legacy bots. They are still superior and more powerful but the gap has been narrowed some. The same needs to happen to the Ao Jun. It can still be vastly superior to the bots but nerf in a way that allows it to be countered more easily. It needs a longer cooldown to allow bots to catch up to it and take it out instead of it constantly taking to the skies as it does now. It needs a 22 second cooldown and a built in weapon nerf.

I wouldn't mind a buff to the DoT damage from the dragons breath along with a nerf to the weapon's base damage. Make it more effective as an anti tank countering TFalcons, Fenrir, Phanton and Leech by relying on DoT against their damage resistance instead of just flying around murdering everything with crazy dragon breath damage.

I agree with both of your nerf ideas and think it would make sense to do either one or both.
Just too bad it won't happen 'till there is a new money sink for them to introduce into the game. I don't run mine, much, anymore... and it's still only a level 8 bot. Maybe the hoped for nerf will entice me to do so again... as long as it rewards skillful play over ability management... but, as it is, the Strider, Hover, and Mender, and so many other bots, have my interest.
IMO YMMV

I would love to run the death wing I have once they nerf into a sorta balanced state.

If it hasn't been linked anywhere, this is a video with a short summary of how pix goes about its business, it's not a secret, and it's self-admitted by their own speaker. Not much point arguing, they admit themselves what they do
