So, where all the courageous pilots who chose CoD over War Robots? More hot air?

I downloaded it and did the tutorial. Haven't really started playing yet. It definitely looks like a good time, but I've been pushing hard to level my vipers in War Robots to hunt leeches.

I started playing but on my cell it's a bit too tiny. Still fun! I'm going to upgrade to a larger phone soon so I'll likely go back to it.

I like 3rd person shooters better than human based gun games like that.
It's just not my thing.

I downloaded it after watching the islander video. TBH I like playing those games on my PC but it seems to be quite good on my iPad Pro. I will continue playing it but so far so good.

As an FPS it’s different from games I’ve played (War Robots, Angry Birds, backgammon).
Any overview from the experienced? Have DL but not opened

Have DL but not opened Limited as though my experience is with this version I have played a number of FPS games on PC (COD variants, Crysis, etc) over the years as, funnily enough, I had always disliked 2nd or 3rd person style games. The game graphics are very good for a mobile, atm there is no apparent lag whatsoever (for me at least which I can't say for War Robots), matches are quick to load up and the variety certainly appears to be representative of the COD franchise. The player interface is quite well laid out and intuitive once you have done the tutorial. When you press a button, that is the only thing that operates i.e. the buttons are a defined area, unlike the "broader" area approach in War Robots. It is a lower paced FPS as opposed to something like Fortnite and doesn't have the "gimmickery" which is popular with a younger demographic in that game. The best thing to do is play the tutorial and launch yourself into a few random games. The good thing at this stage, if you have any concerns, is that most of the other players you will be thrown in with are noobs as well so you are all pretty much at the same stage. Also have a look at the two videos that Islander has done recently to get an idea if you are hesitant. EDIT: IMHO I actually think this is good enough to draw away players from War Robots who are disenfranchised and/or are looking for something else.

I haven’t checked it out because the company seems as crummy as Pix. They use ugly ads that force open the App Store or Safari (plus their wuss politics). White trash behavior I don’t want to be involved with. Well, one is enough, but Pix’s ads look good and aren’t scammy.
I will say though that I watched some of the CoD and Fortnite tournament finals and CoD was at least interesting to watch, there was stuff happening. Fortnite was just people in boxes twitch shooting the whole time, extremely boring yet somehow it’s the most popular.

The “privacy” policy is pretty explicit that they will mine cookies for data on your movements and activities before and after using the game - apparently on a per-use basis.
I said no. It’s okay, not really a gamer except for War Robots

Nothing compares to FPS on a PC but this and guns of boom are by far the best mobile shooters I’ve tried. btw if u ever played counter strike there is a mode like that in this game. and it’s super funny playing against ppl that don’t know what they’re doing

I've watched my son play COD on XBox and now I've seen him play Fortnite on his PC. There's no way I'm going to try COD on my phone when I can't even keep up with the action on larger screens! Frenetic games like that make my head spin.

It also draws players from PUBG Mobile, which is a funny thing though, as both games have the same parent company: Tencent Games China. So, Tencent is fighting against Tencent, which is great for us players, as it will result in both COD Mobile and PUBG Mobile becoming better games.

Tencent has a number of studios they contract to or work under them. In this case, PUBG Mobile was done by Lightcraft & Quantum, and COD Mobile is by KIMI Studios. Both Lightcraft & Quantum and KIMI are Chinese studios working under Tencent's banner. TIMI is also responsible for the MOBA called Arena of Valor, aka Honor of Kings.
TIMI works with the Unity Engine which is the same engine used in War Robots. Both Arena of Valor and CoD Mobile uses Unity.

Ok so I played it last night for an hour and half and got to level 9. It's pretty damn fun. I find that my awareness skills from War Robots is helping me on COD mobile. Or at least I'm getting 20 to 30 kills per match while others get 5 to 10. Granted these guys are extremely low level in matches and just walking out in the open.
I may start a thread seeing what kind of loadouts people recommend. Or get some more detailed conversations going as far as equipment and upgrades.

I played I a bit for a week. It's pretty good but got boring quick because its nothing but bots for in unranked and FFA. Ranked is better with a little less bots and more skilled players. Battle Royale mode has nothing on PUBG mobile. I still play SMC daily and haven't played COD in a few days and 1 or two games of War Robots a month...maybe.

I play it, it is a fun game. But as a former BFBC2, BF3 and BF4 player, i really need my mouse and keyboard.
It is fun though, that you can headshot a higher level enemy, without seeing pink magic and and a last stand above his head.
War Robots has such great gameplay, too bad some russian nerds are ruining it.

So, where all the courageous pilots who chose CoD over War Robots? More hot air? Maybe they are on CoD forum and no longer coming here? Just a thought.
