Actually what is 6pack fight club? Sorry for my ignorance 6 Pack Fight Club is a discord server where we organize casual 6 Pack custom matches every Wednesday while we wait for the 6 Pack League to reboot. As the matches get underway, we rebalance teams to get as close to dead even fights as possible. Tons of fun, no pilots, no modules, no Titans, no super bots. Skill determines victory.

If you aren't on the new 6 Pack discord server, I highly recommend joining for the latest info, including letting people there know you are interested and willing to show for a Euro friendly time! If you need the link I can post it.

Are comms required to play casual fights? I’m not in a situation where I feel comfortable being on comms; there’s a fair amount of background noise that would annoy others and in my immediate environment my unconscious exasperated cursing is already enough. But I don’t want to be the only commless player. I guess I’m asking if there’s any commless fights?
I can potentially play anywhere outside by bouncing my phones cell signal as a base-station to my iPad but it’s currently a rainy season and will be a couple weeks before it’s dry enough to try this.

It's handy to be on coms muted, which several pilots do for many of the same reasons you have and one (sleeping children, same room) that you don't.
It let's you respond to ingame directions and call outs. It also lets you know what's going on in the squad screen as we try to get players on board and teams balanced and you can respond in the text chat if there's anything you need to say.

Just mute your mic. That way you can hear and react to the chatter; left beacon, watch out, whatever is going on.

Last Wednesday was a good one, people! We got 6 games in, 4 of them full 6v6, with one of the closest games I have ever been in coming right down to the wire!

Interest in 6 Pack is rising! Here is my semi-regular bump, but with content! From a DM to an interested pilot: I can tell you this, you don't need any gold to get going, just about 15mil Ag. I have just about 5 of every legal 6 Pack bot and, having 5 hangars, play a lot of different hangars on Fight Nights. Four Leos (two Thunder/Pinata, two Thunder/Punisher) and an RDB Griffin (Pins/Tulumbus) can hang in there with the best of the meta hangars used in the competitive League competitions. I remember dropping into a match on PP and having Dadz on the Reds (on the shared comms) say "Oh no, not those F-ing Leos again!" However, the league comps are rare compared to the weekly casual pickup matches. Yes, you will see Trident Furies and Tarancilots but you will see Molot Griffins shredding the Furies and Punisher Griffs stripping the Anciles. Many Fight Nights have hangar restrictions which help lower the barrier to entry (Like One Heavy Max, One Light Min. Very popular). Tonight is Cricket Night. Only Cossacks allowed. Many will be under leveled, you could jump right in. The biggest takeaway though isn't about how expensive it could be, but rather that the playing field is way flatter no matter what you show up with and the fact that we are all there for the same reason, to play a game where skill matters and laughs can be had as we blast each other. Not sure if you have Discord, but it's free and great. It's how we do all the organizing and it's where we yell at each other and laugh during the matches. Sometimes we use separate comms when we want to be tricky but often it's more like "Watch the left, Crimmins is going for our home!" "... no I'm not..." It's really fun, I hope you throw some bots together and join us. Or the Android guys, also a great bunch. I've just sat in their comms some nights for the banter.

I really enjoyed 6 pack back when I was with a clan that played. Miss those guys too... Totally agreed if anyone even has the slightest interest but hasn't done it yet, it's good fun.

Set up these two hangars for tonight’s Light Bot Battle Royale. Never got a chance to play the Jesse, when it first came out. it always seemed like a fun bot with lots of possibilities. By that time the Dash Bots were rolling in, with Anciles everywhere. Really enjoying these casual matches. Reminds me why I started playing War Robots in the first place. Way better matches, much more skill involved. A great break from the hyper-accelerated Meta. Definitely recommend to any pilot, in any league, to consider setting up one six-pack legal hangar, and joining a causal Wednesday or Saturday. Definitely renewed my enjoyment of the game.

Images from the final moments from two of the matches last night. Close quarters, highly contested, and fairly brutal battles. Well done, I had a blast.
