Hi guys! I am new here on the forum. Excited to be part of the group because the forum feels amazing! I started playing War Robot during the beginning of summer 3 years ago, but for some reason I dropped it and returned a year ago, and for some reason I don’t remember, I dropped it again! Hopefully I don’t drop it anytime soon as I have discovered this amazing forum! I am currently in Diamond III with 2 good bots, Bulgasari and Fenrir. I am building my Falcon right now in WS and am building my Strider next. Not sure if I want to buy Strider with gold and make the weapons for the strider by WS. Anyways, it is nice to meet you all!  |

Welcome.
As far as buying the Strider outright, I dunno if that would be such a good thing. Take your time putting bots and weapons together. Trying to rush things will only put a strain on what resources you have.

Welcome, there are some great people here
With the gold you would be using to but the strider you could grab an avenger and 2 gusts for it instead, good choice though.

Thank you for the warm welcome! As for the Strider, I was considering between that and Mender but I won’t be building any of that until another 15 days when I am finished with building my T-Falcon with avenger :-) Are there any other bots I could consider to builf starting out? :-)

As you level it, you can build the Strider. That is considering you have weapons for both bots. If you acquire too many bots and too many weapons, all at one time, you will be strained to ever level any of them high enough. Have a plan. Stick to that plan. One thing at a time is much better than several things scattershot. |

I heard that gust got nerfed because on the 5.3 patch, so it is still good? (: Yes it is still a really good weapon it just is not as good as the halo now, I run 2 of them at lv.12 and they work just fine, the good thing is that if you put them on a strider that you have the ability to fall back and reload them, works really well paired with an exodus on a strider because they have a similar burst time. That build is relatively cheap and effective. |

If you acquire too many bots and too many weapons, all at one time, you will be strained to ever level any of them high enough. Have a plan. Stick to that plan. One thing at a time is much better than several things scattershot. Ah about the Falcon, first of all, I am sorry about my grammar, I meant to say "I am currently building my Falcon and will(not 'am', my mistake haha) build my Strider next." Yes, I plan building one at a time, I heard that weapons are harder to build than bots since you will usually need more than 1 weapon and it takes just as much time When I returned to the game, I had some components for Spectre that I could convert to my Falcon and that helped a lot Thank you for the tips though balrog89, I was actually wondering or not if building one at a time was efficient or not, so thank you again! |

Weapons seem to stay around much longer. Very few have been nerfed out of meta and many have been buffed into meta. So yeah, you may need to make and level more weapons, but many of us find weapons more important than bots. |
