You may not have a Leo in a finalized TT Dream hanger but it can still be a viable 5th slot for when you are on your last bot simply due to the immense health pool. The Leo is also great for kitting out for specialized support roles such as operation Ancile Cancel, as a counter to Trident & Zeus and focusing on sticking it to the other team's snipers. The Vid below shows Leo at 12/12 holding it's own on the test server hanging with Dash bots, Furies and Carnages. I would like to see the Leo get a little bit faster, and to have the single light hardpoint on it's left side changed to a medium. Nice work. A question: leaving out the Thunder/Pinata (which is undeniably solid), which of the other configurations you ran did you find most effective?

Looks like I'm trying that once accelerated fire rate goes live lol.

Don't be fooled. Take a look at the legend league if you want to know what bots and weapons rule. You won't find leo's in their hangers. Take the short cut and avoid spending money on bots and weapons that will be obsolete! You'd need to get there first. Leo might just save a few matches with it's cheap setup.

Take the short cut and avoid spending money on bots and weapons that will be obsolete! You can't buy your hanger all out once without a credit card. The Leo is an inexpensive platform to park and level inexpensive weapons to use on expensive Robots in the future.

A question: leaving out the Thunder/Pinata (which is undeniably solid), which of the other configurations you ran did you find most effective? "effective" is rather "subjective".... depending on what role you're looking to fill a couple others can do well. For QCQ The thunder punishers tears things (797 483) up eating Anciles in seconds, however, this is best used bumping uglies inside the 30m radius of the Ancile anyway...The HP of the Leo means you have a chance to shred armor and win a dual before you die. With 654 185, I found that Thunder/Pins works well as a mid-range suppression, keeping the enemy pinned down and anytime you mix a thunder with Rockets you have options to deal with an Ancilot. I found the most interesting was the Kang/Nash paired with Molots. Not a big damage dealer but if you find your team up against a lot of Trident's and Zeus cannons you can hang at 650 and eat those nasty Furies and Natasha's granting your team freedom of movement for the win. Upgrade that down the road to a Treb and Gekko's and you can munch on short and midrange Carnage and Fujin pilots all day long. I found the Leo to be an excellent purpose support bot to counter a few of the more powerful and expensive setups in the game. Of course, there are better options for your hanger eventually, but unless you save forever or drop some cash you can't have your whole end game I found the Leo to be an excellent purpose support bot to counter a few of the more powerful and expensive setups in the game. Of course, there are better options for your hanger eventually, but unless you save forever or drop some cash you can't have your whole end game hanger at once. It's a solid bot while you concentrate your resources on more important things.... Better than insisting on hanging onto your Golem because you bought a cool paint job for it

As it has been said before, I agree with the symmetrical 4th light slot, but definitely not the swap for a medium slot. I would also be fine with an extra 10k health, but not in the form of a mini ecu or other shield thing, just health. BUT one or the other, not both a 4th light slot and a 10k health boost, that would also be too much.
The other thing that, as mentioned before, could be useful for the Leo is an extra ability. The speed is fine, don't touch it. No extra physical shield or anything, not needed.
There is one thing, however, that I do feel is missing from this game. That thing is SMOKE. The tubes on the Leo are smoke launchers, which would effectively provide cover in a big area, either to set up on an enemy without being spotted or make a getaway behind terrain to recover from a fight.
So, the ability could be a smoke launcher that drops smoke in a big area (on itself, not aimed at anything) to protect the Leo and surrounding allies (essentially same radius as the Ancile Shield). The smoke completely dissipates after 8 seconds, and has a 32 second cool down. Since smoke, realistically, is used to increase evasion against enemy fire, this could be an AOE Stalker ability (since the Stalker is the only one with the stealth ability currently), so any allies in the smoke would be stealthed for the 8 seconds it lasts for. Then the smoke clears, and you have to wait a full 24 seconds to use it again (to ensure this ability is not spammed and is used strategically). Leo can pop smoke in its area, leave, and someone else hide in smoke for some extra shots at the enemy while being stealthed.
DISCLAIMER: obviously the numbers I give are simply representative of the concept and in no way balanced to the current meta. Just there to give an idea of how this ability is intended to work.
TL;DR: implement the smoke launchers already on the Leo as an AOE Stealth for your team, lasts 8 seconds and has a 32 second cool down, makes the Leo the best multi-role bot, since it is a "jack of all trades, master of none."
Thoughts?

How to make a Leo competitive in top tier: Step 1: Put one in your hangar.

A Prolot (if they ever come out) with 3x molots. The Natasha and Fury would have more firepower with a similar setup but they are painfully slow. With the Leo's high HP you'd be a real pain in the tookis. TT worthy? Maybe. Still waiting on the Prolot to find out. It's like the Leo was meant for this setup!

You will use both pinatas and thunders in a top tier hangar. No reason you can't use a knifer leo for a while.

Leave it as-is. I don't think there is anything that would make a Leo more viable that wouldn't push it over the OP line... The balance of the game requires that an Ag bot not be ridiculous. The Leo is bad-「bum-bum」 for an Ag bot with no ability.
And I agree about the Sniper configs... I seem to see more Carnies out there and the Treb/Gekko combo, even at my lowly levels of 8 Treb and 9/8/8 Gekko, keeps those little buggers in check.
But the Aphid combos work well, too. Hmm... 3x Aphid with a Zeus on top may be an interesting idea... Soften up and harass the enemy with the Z, but destroy the ones that bite the bait and come after you with Aphids. Niche bot, I am sure... but might be fun to play with. Hell, I'm trying the Zeus/Pun combo. I use it on my Natty now, with Puns being the support and the Z being the main weapon. On the Leo, it will be the opposite.
Anyway, are Leos viable in TT? IDK bc I am not up there, but I still run into 10-12 hangars that have Leos in there... so judging by that, I'd at least say they won't make you cry to have one in there. This is one question to which I would say... just run the beotch till it makes up your mind, for you.
IMO, YMMV.

Leo has insane health but is still a very slow bot to use.increase its base speed by 2 Kph and its overall speed at max by 2 more so a 4 speed buff.

Take the short cut and avoid spending money on bots and weapons that will be obsolete! Bots and weapons are only as obsolete as the pilot drivin them. I'm from the South... Deep South.. USA, on the Suwannee River right on the N. FLORIDA/South Georgia line. The American Pitbull is a very popular dog down these parts. And im sure most yall known they got a bad reputation. Known for being vicious.... Attacking folks indiscriminately. But the truth and fact is.. A Pitbull, like any dog, is a reflection of its owner. And how it is raised determines how it behaves. Bots are not unlike this fine animal. How it is geared up, upgraded and piloted determines its success on the battlefield. So when my Leo, Willie Dynamite is blasting you naysayers when we make it top tier.... Remember this post or comment I just made. LEO FOR LIFE BABY!!!! WILLIE DYNAMITE OWNZ YOU ALL!!!

Maybe the Leo wasnt meant for Top Tier gameplay It is a silver bot anyway, shouldnt be able to compete with Gold bots Say that to the Griffin. It's better than every single gold bot except for the Fury, Lancelot and maybe the Galahad. That's like half the gold bots already...what I meant by gold bots is gold bots that are commonly seen in Gold Tier, not like Rogatkas and Gepards, two useless bots that basically should be removed if they arent buffed

Similarly to how the Natasha is a poor man's Fury, a Leo is a poor man's Lancelot. I'd rather buy and use a Thunder Pinata Leo that only costs silver over a Thunder Orkan Lance that costs 7400 gold.

Also, are you guys talking about how slow the Leo is?! It's on par with the Butch in the speed department and faster than any other heavy currently (not counting the Rhino). And a 4th light slot? The Leo is meant to be a lower-damage-higher-speed-and-health deal.
