Many of you know of my thread about Gary being the best bot in the game. So obviously you know what my opinion is.
I want to know what everyone else thinks is the best bot in the game, and why they think so. This is best overall bot, meaning what bot by itself makes the biggest impact on an individual game. Not which bot produces the most damage, or what bot strictly captures beacons best. What bot, by itself, would you say has the biggest impact on its team's chances of winning a game.
Also, I'm talking positive affect. So the fact that a Natasha with Noricum and Zenits guarantees its team a loss doesn't count lol.
Some criteria that might help, consider this: You don't know the map, or the opposing bots. You don't care about getting high damage. All you care about is winning the game. What do you think is the best bot for that task?

Galahad. Better than the Gareth in every aspect except speed and the ability to backpedal with the shield up.

I dont think any bot is they best bot in the game, every bot has at least one counter, but right now i think the ancilot with taran is the game changer, this setup makes a lot of impact on every game because of durability, this bot can change the course of the match

If you take accessibility into account... Griffin... by a country mile.

The best bot in the game is the one you can use most effectively and have the most fun using.
Some like speed, some want big firepower, different strokes for different folks.
For me, I'm the most deadly in a griffin but I enjoy playing the Galahad the most.
If you measure my best bot by damage, it's the PDB griffin
If you measure my best bot by the one I play the most, it's the PDB Galahad.
Not a simple answer by any stretch of the imagination as every bot has pros / cons and fans / condemners.

I think ancilot, honostly, no others bot can kill ancillot 1 v 1, Ancilot v Plasma = anybot will be killed before you break ancilot physical shield. Gun = may be if you can keep the range but it take forever to kill it with the range. Missile = may need 3 -4 volley to kill it, because ancile may regen as fast as your missile reload.

Fury, Lancelot, and Griffin.
Fury and Lancelot are the best within their respective effective ranges. Griffin is the most versatile of the three -- for this I think it's the best, but I won't argue with anyone saying it's one of the other two.

At the end this game is Rock, Paper, Scissors (, Lizard, Spock) where each build has it's strength and weaknesses. As far as the platform selection goes, my vote goes to (under current meta) the trio of:
Fury Galahad Griffin

By Snake's criteria, it's obviously the Taran Cossack.
And you'd like to hear my say that the Taran Cossack actually IS the best bot in the game, but you and I know that's just a joke (in most circumstances). If you only needed one bot to win the game for yourself, it's a Trident Fury. When I get enough gold, I'd prefer to have a Fury over a Lancelot. Trident Furies absolutely cream knife fighters, and is one of the most dangerous bots you'll face when left unchecked. So my vote goes to big baby TT.

I think people will agree these are the top 3 heavy bots, but agree with The VVatcher in that I think the Griffin is the most versatile.

Every bot needs a friend in your hangar... there's a slew of "best bot" hangar variations.
1v1 I'm pretty impressed with Leo Magnum Ancile. It can approach a Trident Fury np, kite kill a Lancelot with ease, actually the only problem is a galahad, in which case I cornershoot until he's bored or loses his shield.

There is no "best" 'bot per se, what we can do is give general class ratings to 'bots, so my subjective opinion:
(I have omitted the wild-west 'bots through lack of experience of them.)
First division 'bots: Rogatka (just - needs a buff to jump cool-down) Gareth Galahad Carnage Griffin Fury Lancelot Rhino
Second division 'bots: Cossack Stalker Fujin Boa Patton Leo Gepard
Third division 'bots: Raijin Schutze Destrier Vityaz Golem Natasha

I think there is two ways to look at it :
* If you take into account the value, then Griffin is the correct answer. This is a silver robot than you can find up till the highest level and the fact you find it everywhere is a good proof for that. Gareth comes second with a very affordable 1'250 gold for a utterly dominant robot at mid-level, basically the Gareth is a light robot with the resistance of a heavy if piloted properly.
* In absolute, and not taking values into account, it's much harder to answer and probably depends on personal preferences. All three britbots are up there, at my level Gareth and Galahad are often superior to Lancelot so that's a bit odd considering Lancelot is the most expensive of all, but I guess it's fair to say all three are excellent bots. With proper setups Griffins or Furies can be good choices also.

Possibly a different view on this than others:
The most impact? The Destrier. It is the bot that everyone starts with, and therefore, the most influential to the rest of the game. If it runs well enough to keep peeps playing, but not well enough to be worth staying in, thereby causing one to keep unlocking slots and buying bots, it has served a better purpose than any other bot.
IMO, YMMV

What do you think is the best bot for that task? I think this a point which makes it impossible to give an correct answer, because it matters which map I´m playing and which opponents (and even comrades) there are. For example, long range weapons like Trebuchet are very useful in maps with large open fields, like Springfield or Yamantau. In Dead City the advantage of the long range is eliminated. Here, fast and agile robots have an advantage. In addition, the team should be mixed well. If there are six identical bots in one team, it is not very flexible in it´s tactic. My favorite bots are carnage and gareth. My carnage carries a trident and a zeus. It can do a lot of damage on a medium distance. It is fast and protected by its shield. On my gareth I have an aphid and a hydra. This robot is very very fast and deadly.

Most people running any Griffin setup are willing to die. They're squishy marsh mellows that hit like a freight train. Go deal 200-300k damage, die, and drop the next one.

I've killed Ancile/mag leos 1 v 1 with a plasma gareth.
In my experience this Leo lacks firepower and struggles with corner shooting. But if you are enjoying using it that is all that matters.

I've done a lot more than 200-300k with that build (all lv10) cornershooting does work, you've got dual mags on the right the ancile makes midrange attacks a joke overall the neverending 10k+ dps just kills with such a huge HP pool and ancile it will get from place to place a decent clip too is the best bot in the game? I just don't have an answer to your question is all (like, no bot is the best), but I guess you could call it my choice

Trident Pin Leos are difficult to take out with the Plasma Gareth. Can't say I've ever seen one, but I can see that being hard to take out with a Gareth. More than likely if I did see it, I just wouldn't engage unless I had support. My bot would be much more useful to my team doing something else in that case lol. My best with a single Gareth was just over 800k damage, lasting the whole game. Much more common to see 400-450k as long as I don't make dumb mistakes.

You never saw one? 1 salvo takes off 60-70% of your health and it takes 2-4 Taran cycles to take it down.
