Well, I just typed out Firetruck longhand. I think when you use the real profanity, the admins are notified, and the filter uses brackets. So better to use the replacement words. I actually say it around my 4y.o. to avoid cursing so much. Firetruck that poo-poo! He thinks it's great. #wikiforumparentingwin

FWIW, excessive profanity- even censored- or deliberately trying to evade the auto-censor, are both grounds for a Strike.
