Red is dead. Grow up sissies.
Got booted from my last clan because of an infantile whiny fellow clan member. I accidentally shot him in the heat of battle. He respawns and attacked me. I stood there shaking my bots head no as he wasted me. After that it was on and I leveled his wuss hangar with my Ao Jun one at a time. He whined until I got booted.
I won't claim it's the first time I attacked a fellow clan member. One clown tried to waltz by me and take my home beacon thinking I wouldn't do anything. Lol wrong.
In the heat of battle I'm not going to bother to look at tags. I'm here to fight. Bring your worst. Leave the fake stupid sense of honor at home. It's a game.
Glad I'm in a real clan now.

I have had a few battles with those guys on both sides and watch one of them throw the match. There's not much honor in that.

Yeah, the only thing that matters in a battle is the color of the tag, not what's written upon it.

Sheeesh, it's a mobile game. Our clan members run into each other all the time and post it on discord and talk about how I had you but got robbed and so on. We even do custom matches and take each other on. It's those silly 「bum-bum」 folks that get mad about being shot by a clan member that give video gamers in general a bad name, lol.

Wait, let me see if I understand this correctly. In some clans if you spawn on opposite teams, clan members refuse to fight each other? This is an actual thing that happens???
Man, I feel better about my clan now. We'd just fight each other and then laugh about it on chat afterwards.

I've never had to deal with this because of the fact that I'm in the central US and all of my clanmates are in the UK but if I saw a clanmate on the enemy team I'd attack anyway. Free kills if they don't fight back.

If I see a friend playing I'll go out of my way to fight. It's all for fun right? I found the whiner on the field the other day in red and laid waste to him again. Will do every time. He's such an 'honorable' man that he threatened to beat me up in chat. Funny guy.

If you were in my clan and did that, I would promptly invite you to a squad battle next game. I try to avoid mates if my team is winning but you're right, RED IS DEAD.

You shot him, he shot you back. So then you hunt him down with your au jun the rest of the game? Lol you sound like an 「bum-bum」.
Idgaf either way Iâve been in both types of clans. MM is hard as is, itâs generally a courtesy not to go after clanmates.

Who looks at clan tags? Not me, only good red is a dead red. I look at clan tags if I see the reds moving very fast and very coordinated and that's when I know I'm facing a death squad!

Heck, In Kaos. We sync drop sometimes 6v6 just so we can go after each other. Back before you could fight your own clan members and it had just changed I had mixed feelings about it. Then I realized its just a game. Playing on coms against your own clan can be a great learning experience too. Tactics are everything if you wanna win against and organized squad and who better to learn it from then your own clanmates?

It is a matter of pride to fight even harder when your clan are in red - I would be embarrassed if I had a bad game against my guys. In fact, if your clan is half decent then the best thing you can do to win is try and take out your clan mate because chances are that they are the best player in the other side.
The bragging rights of flipping a win out against a full squad of your own clan when they are red would be amazing.

Just a slightly different take since it hasn't been mentioned: if you and a fellow clan member are on opposing sides and blast each other into oblivion, you can end up losing clan points at the end of the match. Maybe your clan doesn't give a 「fluffernutter」 about rankings (or maybe you just don't care) - fine - but some do. And for those that do, they hate to see members losing points for the clan as a whole, especially when unnecessary. If you both finish in the top two on opposing sides, the clan as a whole can prosper, but if you go full guns hot it might cost your clan. FWIW, and JMHO, it doesn't take that much effort to take note of who you're fighting against, and in fact it might just save your 「bum-bum」. I'd posit that it's just good situational awareness. I'm never the strongest pilot on the battlefield, so at the outset I look for names of pilots that I know are stronger, or pilots from clans I know that are usually very strong. With that information I can either avoid them one on one or look for situations to create a two on one and catch the stronger oppo in short odds with another blue.

Dookie heads. I target clan members on purpose if they are on the Red Team. I know they are probably going to be the most dangerous reds.
We have fun going at each other its a nice change of pace.
Clans that have rules like this will never be much good anyway IMO dont walk RUN away from the likes of them.

If you care about the Clan as a whole, that is everyone in your clan and their rank and your clans rank, then it makes sense to avoid shooting Clan in red. But if it is more entertaining to shoot your fellow clan members and loose rank and points then why not? Your/our entertainment is the reason we play. Enjoy and have fun!

It’s a game.
I’ve always applied this simple rule, treat them like you would any other red, no better or worse.

In Aurora Nova you are expected to go after each other like crazed lunatics should you encounter each other on the battlefield.
One of my favorite games ever was when I dropped in on Dead City and found myself facing 3 squadded Aurorans. They told me afterwards that they spotted me early and, being in voice, immediately decided to gang smash me unrelentingly even if it meant losing the match. It was savage and ugly but I managed to take a couple of their bots with me and then afterwards we all posted screenshots on our Discord and laughed about it.
You are far, far better off being out of that original clan.
