No. Never. The wiki clan abhors clubbing. This has never happened, is not happening and will never happen.
Thank you.

I'm skeptical. They were so anti-clubbing, they wouldn't permit members to ever play in Bronze Tier, full stop. It's why I didn't join them until after Tiers went away. Not because I wanted to club, but because I loved Bronze Tier play, Lights, etc.

Not us. We kicked folk for clubbing. Now, I can't say that no member ever did it... but I can say, unequivocally, that the Wikittens ([WIKI] for Android) does not, and hasn't, allowed anything that "games" the system as long as I have been here.
The same goes for our other affiliated clan, Wiked.

Yoo AZ here, officer/clanleader for Wiked (extension of wikittens), no our members dont club or tank stats because we are against it and hate it from our whole hearts, you might have faced some guys back in the days when tiers existed with 4/6 hangars and that was people who were new to the game/clan and had to work their way up where they are now, our aim has always been high silver/low gold for our players and we have kicked and will kick people who try to club or game the system in any way inappropriate.
Thank you lads and you can cut the?poo-poo?.
AZ.

I must reiterate what Tricky has stated, and to make my feelings known as well because we as a clan feel very strongly about this.
Deliberate tanking and clubbing is not acceptable by anyone wearing the Wiki tag on the android side. I can't and won't speak for the iOS side.
Sportsmanship still stands for something. The ethos of the old WiKittens when it was just the feeder clan was this and it will continue to be so.

The iOS wiki clan did not relate silver tier play to seal clubbing, so there were indeed players that ran very optimised hangars for silver tier, but were not judged as clubbers by the books.
As stated by others, bronze tier play as an experienced player (which you needed to be in silver/almost in silver to even join at this time) was strictly not permitted.

I'm not being sarcastic, clubbing was not tolerated in the slightest.
Bronze hangars = kick.
There was absolutely zero clubbing.

The wiki clan limited the bots a member could field. Though i was never in the clan, i have chatted with them and a on their clan chat line. A pilot could field no more than 2 gepards and since a full hanger of gepards automatically labeled a pilot a clubber, no they did not allow clubbers in the clan.. UNLESS, they were "reformed" clubbers.

How is the wiki clan and this forum connected? members of the wiki clan were required to be a participant of the forum (and generally enquire about joining) through the wiki forum.

Probably right since the only time i expressed a possible interest in the clan, i was running a full hanger of geps. Told i could have no more than 2. Decided to stay in my own clan since i formed it.

OP.... Were you referring to this post? I've bolded and underlined the relevant part...
Many folk had Silver tier hangars. For many reasons. That does not equal clubbing.
Now, maybe he did club... I have no idea, but I assume our Apple brethren handled it if so. But looking at the quote above, it sounds like he was just equipping a silver hangar. Even if he was clubbing, though, what is the point of this thread? We do not, nor have we, tank or club. And we do not tolerate it. IF there is question of that, ask us. Why open a thread, asking the mods (「whiskey tango foxtrot」!?), about this? I mean, really... How hard would it have been to ask a freaking clan member? A freaking PM would have sufficed... oh, and FYI: Not every admin or mod is a WIKI member.
I'm sorry if I come off as a bit hostile, but how you get to clubbing from one little mention of a player playing in silver, is absurd, and speaks of either A) inciting a flame war or B) Gossiping like a teenager or C) troll bait, which is all hostile in intent.
Now, if you were actually concerned that we, as a clan, were doing it bc of that post up above, and are not trying to start some ish, I apologize. Let me assure you, sincerely, that one person, a clan doth not make. There has been no tolerance of that behavior from the Android side, again, since I have been here. And as far as I know, iOS WIKI has the same policies... admittedly I don't have much contact with them outside of this board, so I can only speak for us with certainty, but I feel that the idea is carried on their side too, that exploits are harmful to the entire game, and not a way to properly advance. Please, Apple WIKI, correct me if I am wrong in that, as I don't want to put words in your mouth.

Same with android side: the old silver tier (R.I.P.) was its own beast and legitimately required skill, had its own meta, etc. I appreciate you chiming in here. A part of me likes to think both platforms stand together on this subject.

Please, Apple WIKI, correct me if I am wrong in that, as I don't want to put words in your mouth. No Tricky, that is not the post I was referring to but it is in the correct thread. You've asked a few questions that I'll try to answer in order of appearance: You ask that even if he is clubbing what is the point of this thread. The point is the irony of the wolfs tending the hen house if he is indeed clubbing. What/who he is is a moot point since he wasn't who I was referencing initially. I ask on an open forum because I have nothing to hide and neither should you. Your admitted hostility is a matter that should be dealt with internally IMO. I've asked a very short honest question that people are probably thinking, the least you can do is be respectful and understanding of the entire situation. Please consider what you say and how you say it and before you press "Submit" consider the consequences. If it sounds hostile.. try revising. I asked the mods because I was under the impression they were in the clan and play the game. I assumed that since they are holding a public position that they would be able to answer in a tactful manner so that it wouldn't result in a flame war. In other words I was giving your guys the best opportunity to clear up a perception. For example, companies use PR personnel for a reason. It was my belief the mods were the equivalent. (Dredd would've been my choice personally, he writes good). To answer your question referencing that particular post is again a moot point. It wasn't what I was referencing but I'll entertain you to stretch your mind a bit. I was hoping for an opportunity to hear from the clan itself (who I apparently incorrectly thought were the mods who spoke publicly about it) regarding the clan and clubbing. The very clan who, mind you, bear the name of the WIKI. BTW flame wars aren't hard to start and giving you an opportunity to give us your answer on the topic isn't how it's done. If I were to start a flame war with this topic I would've titled the post "wiki clan exposed", "why does wiki clan club", "foxes guarding the hen house", or something of the like. and the body of the post would've been more along the lines of a journey of discovery. Given how easily you jumped to anger over this it could've been worse. I am assuming that I could easily bated you into having this post deleted (cencosrship), screen shot your actions, then make a big deal on facebook to PIX for censoring stuff on the forum about you guys. Just about everyone who plays this game knows about this forum and the WIKI. Thank you for the clear concise responses from everyone else, I really appreciate what you guys do and I get excited every time I see one of you in a fight because I know it'll be a battle. The next line is for tricky because I know what he's going to do because of it ::mic drop::

Android: Absolutely no clubbing here, the former Android wiki clan even broke apart because we had to ban some members after they got too flame happy with a sealclubber on the old wiki.
iOS: Slightly more lenient rules, but not by much. Absolutely no bronze tier hangars, you are only allowed to use two bots of the same type meaning that you could only field two gepards at once.
TL;DR: Both wiki clans were very much against clubbing.

I was in Wiki Clan before all the offshoots. The breakup was far more complicated than members getting banned. That is history, and as I am no longer a member, its not for me to say. And no, I was not banned, I left the clan.

Alright questions answered and its pretty clear we are against clubbing/tanking or any kind of manipulation of the game, thread closed or do we have something more to add?

It seems pretty clear to me that you already have your mind made up, so there's little point in discussing it, but I did want to note one thing. While I understand your skepticism of a "hot pink mouthpiece," you must have a very low opinion of me to think that I'd be willing to trade away my integrity so cheaply. There are a few people in this world, maybe less than there used to be, for whom principle is worth preserving.

You guys have like 0 sense of humor, or ability to see blatant tongue in cheek comments. Seriously, question your ability to moderate right now. This is simple stuff and none of it, not one word is as your interpretation suggests.
