I’m at a weird stage of the game where MM is putting me with mostly champion league players with hangers way above mine, but my bots and weapons are around levels 5-9, so I lose quite a lot if not put onto a team of Champion league players. When I lose, I lose “BAD” and it appears my clan takes that hit in their rating. Occasionally, I’m matched with DL (my league) and EL guys and do just fine.
My question is, for the good of my clan, should I bail out of the clan until I level up to where I can compete with all these Champions League players? Thoughts?
Thanks for your input!

This is really something to take up on your clan chat.
Probably the best way forward is to do more squadding with your clan doing what you can in a support role. That's what build clan rank.

I'd talk to a couple of your captains about it and get their opinions. Do you have primarily champ and masters league folks in your clan? Are you the lower odd man out as far as rating?
Hopefully there's a handful of people in diamond to expert in the clan that you can squad with. I can see the MM putting you vs a champ squad from time to time but if your highest guy in the squad is expert then it should be rare.
Although, if it's not fun, then clearly it's a yes....i'd make plans to leave. Just tell them you'd like to be able to come back once you move up so you don't burn any bridges.

Yes, talk to your clan. Aleast get some money out of it. I would tell them, "you'll leave for $20."

Ok...the reason you are facing pilots of a higher league than you is that you are squadding with pilots of a much higher league and MM rates your entire squad off the highest ranked pilot in your squad.
YOUR CLANMATES SHOULD KNOW THIS ALREADY!!
YOU SHOULD NOT BE PUT IN THAT SITUATION...
It's bad for them... it's bad for you...
Being in DIAMOND...you shouldn't squad with anyone higher than EXPERT 3 and lower than GOLD 1. (As a rule of thumb...YMMV)
If you were to squad with a group of SILVERs...you would force them to fight DIAMONDS....(give or take)
Now...you said you do well against your peers... that's great ...keep it up. Clan rank points earned by a CHAMPION are not worth any more than those earned by you...1 point= 1 point...you may be adding clan points when your higher league clannies go on a "losing streak".
Don't beat yourself up... keep fighting, have fun.... level up gear....
Just squad with your peers and soon enough, your peers will be EXPERTS/MASTERS/CHAMPIONS.

If you're playing on the lower population Amazon server it might not matter who you squad with
Are you usually negative overall in clan points? Are you the only one? Clan might not even care

Clan might not even care ^That is why I was asking... on Amazon, you will face folk a lot higher than you on a normal basis... squadding or no. Sure, it's worse when you squad with folks that are in Champs or Masters or higher Expert... but from all I have learned an Amazon game could have teams with pilots from Champs on down to Gold, on the regular.
Ask your clan if it bothers them. Then decide what to do.
IMO, YMMV

Some clans have multiple clans set up and will have dedicated "sub-clans" for specific leagues. This way, when squadding, you have less chance of being pulled into higher league games. My clan is set up like that and it's been great. If you guys have Discord, bring it up and see if they have something like that. If not, then consider leaving. It's nothing personal after all!

If you're on Kindle & want to play in a clan that doesn't really take it that seriously, Armored Ronin (189865) is an option. I won't be able to accept you before Sunday night but as long as you're cool, you're cool.

Damn, I’m old! I’m on my iPhone and can’t figure out how to upload a pic? Can anyone help an old guy out? Lol It's a PITA to do that on the mobile version... you can switch the page to the Desktop version and then while you are creating your post (NOT using "quick reply") you will see a button that says "Add image to post."
It is very hard to navigate the desktop version while on a phone, so it may be more trouble than it is worth... IDK. You can switch it back to mobile when you are done.
Personally, I just wait until I am at a PC to do my uploading of pics.
IMO, YMMV

If they let you in the clan I would say they were aware of the potential issues and are anticipating you getting stronger over time and catching up. I’d say admission to any decent/semi decent clan is not just random chance. Participate in some squads and in discussions and you should be right. Many clans value friendship and that you are of a similar mindset as the others are while they expect you to improve over time.
Our clan hires mostly around low expert and lets people develop. Champs and high masters guys (who are deliberately high masters) do not generally squad with those guys. They actually call out that it’s a bad idea.
