Hey all, I am wondering if you have any thoughts on some high silver+ weapon sets.
I am currently running
Galahad 9/10 (Plasma Taran+Mags)
Carnage 9/9 (Thunders)
RDB Griffin 6/9
DB Griffin 6/9
Plasma Rhino 6/9
This is working reasonably well for me. I was originally thinking the Rhino could turtle while still dealing damage with magnums, but it seems to crumple quickly (maybe due to bot level 6). I picked the Griffin to run DB so I had the jump to escape after unleashing my Orkinatas...seems to work better with RDB for me.
I am considering switching the Rhino to the DB (Orkan+Pinatas) and then the Griffin would turn into Plasma (Taran+Magnums). What would you recommend: keep them as is, or switch them for DB Rhino and Plasma Griffin?
I would also be interested in hearing why would pick the way you do...

Fyi, your hangar is low gold, not high silver anymore.  Personally I am using a DB Rhino and a Plasma Griff. I tried DB Griff before @lvl6, but too squishy...after unloading once, I would usually take too much damage to be effective. I would probably say DB Griff is better in higher levels...say lvl 10 bot. My advice would be: Since you have both already, just switch it and test it out. If you like the feel of it, keep it. But shooting rockets while jumping needs some training, if not they would just miss, especially if you are jumping and hitting diagonally. |

below speaking only about max level and only my opinion of course.
In current reality with updated Aphids and Lancelots with Orkans, Fury (Tridents) i prefer not to use Rhinos at all - only Griffs and Lancelots. Because without a shield it's slow as baby. And need a coverage. Only good in straight battles in corridors (Shenzen, Deadcity, Powerplant and maybe Yamantau in center)
Lancelots (Orkans/Thunder) is Rhino killer 100% in rush mode - 10 secs s enought. And Griffins with DB flying over Rhinos and Lancelots easily do 150k damage in 3-4 seconds when it's really hard for Rhino to strike back on flying Griff with 100% guarantee of damage. So, when your Rhino (172hp) receives 150-155k damage in 3 sec - he will probably lost some of his weapons and as outcome Griff will win in this duel.
So, my choice is Griffs (jumps and 35km/h speed) and Lancelots (it can rush in any direction). Rhino only straight. And don't forget of RDB and Aphids flying into Rhino, as well as tridents. As well as plasma from the backside.
If you still want to use a Rhino - use Orkans and magnums or Orkans and Aphids.

I like db griffs purely for the jump, I used to think the griffin was just dumb and basically a rhino with less up slower and no shield but after using the jump more efficiently that's changed. I run three griffs, taran/aphids and two db griffs, though I often like to switch up the weapons for fun. I find that db griff vs rhino majority of the time the griff wins unless you stuff it up (jump into the middle of a fight elsewhere) with minimal damage dealt back to the griff. Of course it's down to preference but it's worth playing around with the different bots and setups to find your sweat spot.
