It's not battle of bots but vehicles in post-apocalyptic world. On the down side people mention pay to win model...

Gaijin Entertainment is another Russian developer and publisher, but unlike Pixo, they're independent. They developed their own game engine, which is used on Crossout, Star Conflict and War Thunder. |

They developed their own game engine, which is used on Crossout, Star Conflict and War Thunder. I was worrying that Crossout is going to be pay to win, but it's not even close to War Robots. Crossout is not war robots, but it is a lot of things that war robots should be. |

Crossout is not war robots, but it is a lot of things that war robots should be. PC F2P games are not as P2W as mobile F2P games, but there is sizable grind that encourages or pressures players to purchase premium time or items to help speed up the grinding process. This pressure is logarithmic as you tier up higher. Games like War Thunder are Hanger based matchmaking however, and while you will face uneven battles against people with higher tiered equipment, there are set boundaries for that. |

Of course, they need to make money somehow. I spent 75$ on the game and have equipment that can compete, but not win all the time. That to me is reasonable. And I like the hangar or power based matching too. It's not perfect but it's way better than what Pixonic offers. To be honest, on power scale I'm on top in games I play but I rarely win first place because you can build a lot better custom vehicle. |
