Well, Pix upgraded the graphics on Steam version.
The game is now unplayable on my non-gaming PC (maybe 5 fps). It used to run just fine.
So, whether I like it or not, Pix has made the statement: no casual players, only those with proper fairly modern GPU are welcome.
It's been kinda fun two years with the game, and a bit less on these forums. Thank you everybody, and special thanks to those who do and have done the mostly thankless job of moderating and administrating these forums!

Well, that’s a bummer, I didn’t know you were on Steam though, always thought iOS or Android. Hope you have fun wherever you go!

I started on Android, played it maybe 11 months or so, but got spoiled by FBGR version, before switching to Steam. I might log in to the Android version at some point though, to see how it is doing. But the phone experience is just not good enough for me to enjoy the game.

So technically, you’re right.

Impossible is nothing.
If you're on a super tight budget, you can build a budget gaming rig for less than 200 dollar:
If you also enjoy other games, you can play a lot of even modern games with 1920*1080 resolution on this 500 dollar rig:
So, this might be a solution for you. If you only want to play War Robots and some other older games, the 200 dollar rig will do the job.

Thanks, but this PC I have can do plenty enough good old games (Skyrim runs just fine for instance). And I am not going to spend money on a gaming rig just because of War Robots. Also, it's not really about money, it's about where I want to spend the money. I'll probably get a decent VR setup once the next generation of VR gear comes out (or get a 2nd hand setup of current generation then, if I feel like not spending enough for a new rig). But until then, no new gaming HW.
