I just had a battle where I landed my Invader inside the entire clump of enemy players. I disabled their weapons and three of us wiped out six of them. It was an amazing play but my damage was a bit low(640k) and my silver award for that, with 7 kills and 8 beacon caps was just 220k silver.
Things like suppresion, lock-down, tanking shots with physical shields and healing should be given special considerations in after-match rewards as those aside from healing don't directly contribute to damage dealt and are thus not rewarded in silver.
A medal system would be a good step in the direction. Suppress an enemy? Suppression medal, 5k silver. Cap a beacon? Beacon medal, 5k silver.
Not only does that give players a better sense of accomplishment and a little more silver it also gives them something to chase because winning a slew of medals after each match just feels good.

The issue is that it's kind of subjective whether a sweet play or maneuver was accomplished. And pix doesn't have any way of measuring that automatically. I like the idea, but what if you said a guy locked down 30 players during the match... does he get more silver/gold bc he's rich enough to run a 4 Pulsar spec and a 4 Corona spec? Or what if someone is running 3 suppression bots and just farms the medals by suppressing the entire battlefield all match. Not sure.
It'd be cool if you got a bonus for successful executions of an ability on an enemy, but hard to measure. And are people with ability bots due more than a guy running more basic bots?

At this point, Pixonic doesn't need to change anything else. The battle rewards need to be kept simple so people don't change their gameplay to be rewarded for 5 different things. And the last thing we need is more specific tasks such as "Suppress 10 enemies" or "Lockdown 5 enemies in 20 seconds".

There's always the "feel good" award for doing something amazing. Or just record every game on the off chance something cool happens, and then you can post it and share it with us.
