The Tachikomas and the armored suits from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. For that matter, Motoko Kunasagi's body is synthetic, so wouldn't she qualify as well?

War Robots basically stole the Neptr from Adventure Time to design its Boa. I'd also like to see Pixonic license some popular robots from other franchises like Rick & Morty. In all seriousness, now that the game is no longer called "Walking" War Robots I'd be happy to see bots with tank treads. Just give them 10% increase on straight line speed and a 20% decrease in changing direction. Rick and Morty rule ...

"PREPARE FOR EXTERMINATION!" I would like to see a rare event on Shenzen where both teams have to put aside their differences and fight Devastator.

The bots from Evangelion Piloting one would give you severe depression, sense of unfairness, frustration, sorrow, sense of loss and anger... Yeah a lot like when MM matches you up with 12/12 bots when you are just 6/6.

Probably not exactly famous, but this steampunk style dude from an episode of Dr. Who Probably a little more famous, but still a bit obscure, this one from the movie, "Wild Wild West." Yeah, I kinda got a thing for steampunk. Definitely famous, no steampunk this time, and again from Dr. Who... ...and this one. Just because it would be hilarious to see this guy humping a lancelot to death.

I was thinking about the Heavy Mechs from Hawken. Similar to the robots here, the mechs could deploy shields to tank damage. The difference is that when they do that, they are not turning a shield around or using an energy bubble. Rather, their shields resemble like beetle carapaces and turn over to cover the mech, turning the mech into something like a turret.
