Althought I have both Spectre and Inquisitor, and probaby getting a Mercury or Pursuer in the next few months, I think having Steatth ability is like cheating. You get crushed just because you cannot retaliate even when you are in full health and or with fully loaded weapons.
Piggie should never have introduced this "special" ability. I rather they increase the HP of the bots by a bit. Anyway, from the way I look at it, all the Stealth bots already have special abillities. Pursuer = Speed , Spectre = 4 Medium Slots + Jump , Inquisitor = Heavy Weapon Slot + Jump , Mercury = Heavy Slot + Jump + Helldive.

I am using FB Gameroom, very nice control on KB/Mouse. Games should be played on the big screen...not small devices. Especially for games like this. You don't need a high end PC to play. |

I use a touchscreen and use my thumb to hold fire while using my index finger to press the Dash button... am I cheating? Sometimes I even fire one weapon with my thumb and another with my index finger. I think you just need to git gud and stop only using your thumbs. |

Isn't the playerbase on FB so small that leagues basically don't exist? And I'll never use FB. I actually played War Robots and a few other mobile games in an Android emulator last year but only because I break mobile devices so much. But I prefer a phone over tablet or PC because of convenience. Don't want to take a tablet everywhere I go to play my fave games. |

But yeah back on topic... I'll take stealth over dash. I miss so many shots trying to aim at dash bots. Stealth bots are easier to hit.

Stealth bots will be the least of your problems soon enough. The game's been selling power for 1.5 years and it's about to enter its ultimate p2w era. With everything under your thumb because they care for the p(l)ayer.

Your too late, the Greek bots have true invincibility with extra weapons on top. Pixonic realised that strath was not making them money and introduced even more op crap. The quantum radar will be the final death of stealth.

Whenever a Griff or a Hover leaves the ground it is instantly targeted by every long range weapon on the map. Stealth Jumps combat that.
Poor little Spectre totally needs his Stealth. Without it he's a two hit kill. Inquisitor is stronger so maybe it is a cheat.
Pursuer definitely feels like a cheat. That very long stealth lets you kill without ever being hit by enemy fire.
I recently had a FFA game where the same Pursuer took out all my bots. I didn't have a chance to get a single shot.

Champions League is just everyone in either a Spectre, Inquisitor or Mercury. It's like you need to be in a stealth bot to win. Well I have a hangar of stealths.

So went to research to see what alternatives I have, was deciding to go for Android Emulator, somehow cannot run it. So went with FB Gameroom. If you guys try it, you probably will like it. Awesome graphics too. This game needs KB/Mouse to play nicely....it is not like those "kiddo cartoon" games. Also, overtime, might be bad for the fingers. |

I feel like playing mobile games on a laptop is cheating. I can tell when I'm up against someone using a KB/mouse on Android. I almost want to destroy my bot so they can't get Ag. |

Back on the topic of stealth... Just have to be in the right bots with the right builds at the right time. I've taken out more Pursuers in stealth mode with my Hover and Leo equipped with a Halo and Storms/Gusts. They have enough hp to survive those 8 seconds of stealth. But I'm not facing much mk1 lvl 11+ gear in Expert 2 to Masters 3 battles.
And just know when to retreat. Know when to pair up with a teammate. If you see a red marker behind a wall, assume it's a stealth bot waiting to pounce and change your route. I remember when Aphid Pattons used to be the bots hiding and waiting to ambush you... Now it's stealth bots. I haven't seen an Aphid Patton in months. ?

I play mostly FFA in champ's where all you encounter are Specs,Mercs,Inks, and Pursuers. It's pretty fun tying to out bot the other, especially when you all have the same abilities. I know it isn't fun for players running Griffin/Leo/Natty hangars going aginst stealth because I'VE BEEN THERE. You fight your way up, you get stealth bots and it's an equal playing field which is much different than a few leagues before. However, with the inclusion of stealth bots that are as dominant as they've been, I'd really like it if the legacy bots got a major buff whether it be gun hardpoints, new abilities or cooldown buffs or anything. The upcoming modules are supposed to remedy this but at the same time is a slap in the face to anyone who spent time/silver/real money on lockdown weapons, any stealth bot, healing bots or gold to say the least. Edit: For anyone who hates on the dash bots, at least you can target them |

Aside from that, pre-lockdown, I found stealth vs stealth to be the most tactical and skillful era. You have to plan your moves ahead of time, where to jump, how to get your opponent to jump before you. Some people hate this style of play but I love it. You have to engage basically all your skills to outplay others: corner shooting, movement, planning jumps, knowing the strengths and weaknesses of your opponents loadout. I'm not talking about Stealth vs Dash or legacy, purely Stealth vs Stealth. |

Yeah i think the same as you. In fact, i was ready to use the mercury because i considered its stealth pretty balance but when pixonic increase its stealth and its speed even more it just take all my interest in the bot.
I rarely use my inquisitor and my hangar now is old bots without stealth. Someday i will start using my mercury but now i prioritize other stuff.

Watch these videos: You're also not facing full squads of them. When players start coupling up and tanking for each other, alternating ability cooldowns is where the Ares shines. |
