If you are a Bot player and have Titan and gear that are T3, it is being advised that you strip down your hanger before it goes live. Also, most of the Veterans that are playing now have decided to run and upgrade the same way a new player would for the first 3 weeks or so. The servers had their final update in preparation for the global release just a few minutes ago.

What Nippy said above.
Here is the official post for anyone playing Battle of Titans currently on October 24, 2018:
As we prepare to submit our final build for the global release, I’d like to call your attention to your current v1.4 hangars. Following player feedback, we removed the "permanent upgrade" concept and implemented the option to remove items from your hangar post-upgrade for an expenditure of EC. It came to light as we make our final preparations that the one time “free removal” of currently equipped upgrades was initially planned as a means to provide grace to players not prepared for the big change to permanent upgrades. When the permanent upgrade feature was removed so was the free one time upgrade removal. Through a bad assumption on my part this was not realized until recently.
As before, lower-tier Titans with higher-tier upgrades will have no issue being improved to the next available tier.
Also, any items in storage from 1.4 will remain available in storage. But please note new upgrades purchased will be placed directly into an upgrade slot and removing upgrades will cause them to be destroyed. Titans and weapons can be removed and stored as they always have been.
Please consider these three options to best prepare for the changes coming in 1.5. 1. Although I can’t provide a solid timeframe removing all gear to storage is an option and will allow you to reconfigure however you choose without penalty after the update. 2. You may also elect to configure your hangar however you wish now in anticipation of the coming changes. Just keep in mind removing a T3 upgrade after the update will cost EC and destroy it. 3. What I personally recommend, is this. Remove all of your normal or best gear and spend the next few days using T1 upgrades and possibly Titans and weapons. T1 will be relatively cheap to remove if you decide you don’t want it and you won’t have to guess when the update will hit. You could also have fun with it and set up a “noob” hangar of all T1, as I intend to, for the first week or two of global release. This is a low risk(in terms of cost) option and will be beneficial to new players who don’t have too much of a chance against most of you anyway, regardless the equipment.
I regret the late notice of this change. Please help me by informing your friends so they can plan accordingly.
Thank you for joining us in the open beta and testing stages of Battle of Titans. Your feedback has been instrumental in helping shape this game.

Still deciding on my T1 hangar. I went with a T1 Ravana and a T1 MAO just like the default.

Uh, I’m confused. Haven’t played BoT in awhile and not on TS, but does this mean we don’t get to experiment with our inventory? So if I put a new weapon on a bot and decide I don’t like it then, well, that weapon is gone. I guess it mentioned only T3 items, of which I have none, but now I won’t want T3. I play a couple other games where there’s a minor cost to unequip an item, but totally deleting the item too is very harsh. Kills the fun of experimenting with different builds. Or am I interpreting this wrong?

Or am I interpreting this wrong? Weapons, and hulls remain intact. You can move them to storage/swap them fully intact. (No more refitting a whole new mech everytime you want to change your hangar!) However, all upgrades are destroyed when removed/replaced, and in addition to losing the upgrade, there will be fee for the removal. The removal fee is a small percentage of the item's original market value. (Upgrades: weapon, armor, leg, and core modules.)

UPDATE BEING SUBMITTED As I type this we are submitting our final build for what has become B.o.T. version 2.0 Here’s the breakdown. 1. Apple & Google will receive the update. 2. Both platforms will have to review and approve files. 3. We will receive approval notifications from both stores and press our giant “LAUNCH LIVE UPDATE” button. 4. The update will go live and will be available in the USA, China, and Korea for the first time. 5. ? Global Launch

So glad for this. I just played War Robots for the first time in a while to see . . .it's a shame, what an unbalanced p.o.s. it has become!

This by far has to be the most pathetic of all the events over the years.
Looking forward to BoT!

I'm running 2 mangler hammer ravagers, love that bot and I occasionally swap between hammer m.a.o, tormentor nelly or two shons, one with manglers and the other one with stings. Love the game!

Been playing a bunch. Running a Terpitz, Mao, and 2 Shon(s). Most of my gear is T2. Finishing T2 then T3 weapons is my priority. Really enjoy the game.

I'm sure it was a joke, I play both games, plus Robokrieg, and I am still stoked about BoT. By far, it's much more satisfying to win and less demoralizing when I lose than War Robots. I am a noob still... but yeah, it's fun. Actually fun.
IMO, YMMV

If that's so, then it wasn't me, I don't own iOS device, and am off War Robots for 10 days! Yaaay me!
I figured tooschool saw me on bot, because I think bot is cross platform

You are correct sir. Might come over to bot for kicks, I do have spare space. You never know. It’s on iOS in USA right?

I've downloaded an unreleased game tentatively titled Mech Wars(no relation to the BattleTech or MechWarrior franchise) on Google Play. It's actually got some nice maps and is fun to play. One being a night map in a small urban setting. Pretty much like Robot Warfare as the game mechanics go but with nicer graphics. Not as complicated as War Robots but still in development and has potential. Light bots can jump and some have "dash" capabilities but it's more speed than slide. Weapons and bots can be upgraded. The bots in four ways instead of one. Big plus for the maps. Big hills, ravines, good cover and well laid out. Two modes thus far. Skirmish by teams in a timed match and a timed base capture/most kills by team match. I'm having a great time testing it out.
