In Gold league one and 8 of of 10 times facing Diamond league players and juuusttt losing the matches.
(That’s if all players actually stick it through otherwise people tank in disgust and then we get smashed)
Is this a Pixonic tactic to break me?
Why are the Diamond league players not facing each other?
Is the player pool THAT small?
Does that mean when I reach Diamond I can also get to seal club?

its the Match Maker mate. You are probably on a higher than 50% win percentage and you are on a beat down til you get well into the 40ies. I put up a couple of thread a few weeks back re how this works. If not you are just unlucky due to the spread of MM-ing as a result of the separation of modes (doubt it).

Agreed.. The first wall as I put it, is the bronze1 to Silver 3 for new players. leveling weapons to 9 and skill... gets you to the top of gold, bottom of Diamond. (MY Skills are still forming in month 4). Leveling your weapons to 12 Mk1 should get me into Mid Diamond. Just my 2 cents. I find that the closer to 50% wins I am, the more even the Matchmaking is.. level your weapons too much..get on a winning streak.. well. you're in trouble. the Matchmaker will get you in the end. I would suggest look carefully at the rebalancing and plan ahead. I am already leveling more mid range for my soon to be sluggish spectres. Keeping 1 orkan spectre. Going to level old Molot T's to MKi/ii for an interesting long range spectre..should be interesting. Worst case, and old bot gets leveled weapons. comments, please!!

went on a losing streak last nite when i almost got my E3 Honor rewards chest, was busted back down to D1 an this is basically what i fought for 9 matches    3rd time this has happened, i almost get my Chest, than get thrown too high level Teams as a Snack and then have to restart with 1st Honor Chest again. noticed if i have a low wait time matches are always Good win or lose, but when the MM takes more then 20sec i know i'am in for a Slaughter. |

You’re in Gold 1 and facing the league just above. That happens. When you were in Gold 2 you faced Gold 1 and Gold 3 players. The league spread is usually over a span of 3 but can be more.
