During qualifying matches for Champion League, i always encounter the same squad that is overpowered. I was playing the King of Hill mode.
Does anyone else has the same experience?

I would say it's just the MM doing it's thing.
I thought only total beginners go up against AI bots. By the time you get up to Champion I would assume your skill level far exceeds that of any game AI.
Then again, what do I know? I'm in Gold League.

The pool is relatively small at C (qualifying and inside), and after a while, you see a lot of familiar names, know the squad, etc.
No AI there, qualifying C is tough stuff, good luck.

Play with squads if you don't trust random players out of mm, that's what I do

You have 2 problems, the smaller pool of players in champion league and KoTH for an even smaller pool of players.

KotH on iOS on Champs is currently being dominated by squad of ToolBreakers clan. Good luck to any non-squaded, non-boosting, non-maxed out hangars players. Tip: get your beacon points as soon as possible and stay out if harm’s way. ?
They don’t even care about beacons, they just dominate the ?dookie? out of opposing team and mech them out. xD
Had several run ins with them. Which is when I know it’s time to switch to BR to not be in synch with their matches starting. *facepalm*
Might be the same on Android.

Thanks for all the replies. I did make it to Champion league (first time ever since i started playing from Android release; I never do tanking and spend any real money). I ran into the 0GC clan again on my 4th qualifying match which my team won by chance.
