Unpopular opinion; nothing wrong with spectre or shocktrain. Yes, spectre or shocktrain might be tolerable. However, there's everything wrong with spectre + 4x shocktrain + MK2. x3-6(clan squad) |

So u want too play for free or for pennies??? An online game that requires this amount of attention and servers and this complexity?  So the company has too never update or create incentives for the long term player to keep playing?? Compared to most other games in playstore this game is actually very reasonable to progress and be competitive.. They don't overload it with tons of Ludacris micro transactions.. It's not a simple puzzle game like candy crush that other people pay 100,s of millions if dollars too play and progress . All THOSE GAMES!!! are LITERALLY P2W. ACTUALLY there just a money grab with a PRETENSE of a game around it and almost all of them use the same mathematical formula and game style too do it . Pix is just trying too get $10 a month too stay alive, lol?!?;?! If a whale wants too spend $1000 on outfitting a bot, Good for him! And us! and pix! I'll make it easy since you have a hard time paying attention. No where do I say that. I just said they push out to much too soon. It's good to have new things to keep it interesting. I'm happy they try to do that. It's just too much to soon. Plus it's mostly just too change up the meta. Make what you have obsolete. Then encourage spending frenzies in the player base to keep up. Truthfuly this time being I didn't waste my time,silver,gold & real money on building a hangar full of stealth bots. I'm a little excited of the upcoming changes to bots & weapons for 4.3. I'm a little sad to see the haechi nerf. But I can live without it and my one spectre I did acquire. But at the same time I can see others frustrations that might begin from their spectre hangars being put away. Food for thought: If it wasn't really a problem, I'm curious why pix is doing the changes. Now where do some people stand? Yippie there's an update with changes. Or boo pix just wants us to start all over again with our hangars? See a trend? |

I got killed by a level 3 pulsar rogtaka... in my Leo. ?dookie? happens, sometimes its our fault. Why are they NO THREADS in the first 2 pages of this forum and the TIPS forum on dealing with spectre? Threads complaining about Spectre: 5 million Threads discussing viable counters to one of the most pathetically fragile bots: 1? Because there aren’t that many viable counters, most counters involve using other Spectre builds, or at the very least another stealth bot, the exception being a Hydra build which is usually effective against hiding Spectres but most don’t like to run that type of build, and even if they do consider it, the most effective Hydra build is the Hydra Spectre. That’s why there are more threads complaining about Spectre than those that offer solutions or counters (of which there are few). It isn’t as fragile as you are making out either, last week my Lvl 12 Scourge Bulg struggled to deplete a full health Spectre (not in stealth) at 100-150m; that’s ridiculous considering it is supposed to be a glass cannon and Scourges are supposed to melt face up-close. Granted, that was a bit of an exception, they usually arn’t so durable; I do suspect he was MK2-12 and in an all boosted squad, but still their health (while not high) isn’t low enough to be a true glass cannon. Yes, in the lower leagues if you can find one solo Spectre not protected by teammates and his gear level is league appropriate and he is of average ability, then yes he can usually be dispatched without much trouble by a competent pilot. However in the upper leagues (not just Champions League or Master), you often find a minimum of 3 Red Spectres on the field at any one time, typically 4 or 5, often armed with ST so they can pop-tart do a good chunk of damage and return to safety without much risk to themselves. Try closing in on a group of them by yourself (without another stealth bot) or even following another Blue, and you’ll typically find you’ve lost most of your health before you’ve even got in range. Granted I’m in Champions League so I see way more of them than lower leagues, but even on my other account in E1, there are enough of them that classic bots, or even most other bots can’t compete to an equal level; sure you can take out 1 or 2 if lucky, but they spawn right back into another Spectre and take out 2 or 3 of your allies typically. There are always exceptions, but that’s how it goes in general; you can even the playing field by putting more Spectres in your hanger but that’s boring and only adds to the problem. Spectre is so clearly OP, beyond all other OP bots, that it shouldn’t need explaining. Yeah you might be doing alright down in the lower leagues against single isolated Spectres or particularly poor Spectre pilots, but don’t pretend for a moment that most regular bots can compete against them, on an even playing field if the Spectre pilot is competent. |

I just wanted to say that all these new stealth bot pilots are cowards. Each one of them. It was valid on the stalker because its a small bot, it gets destroyed easily and it only uses 2 small slots. Now all these new medium and large bots with stealth AND flying AND jumping AND ancile shields AND meduim slots(spectre players are the biggest butthurt wussies ive ever seen) have ruined the game. Its not a situatuon of "evolve and and adapt" its a situation of too many lazy players who have no concept of competition. How is it competition when your enemy can never shoot you back because you only appear in stealth flying overhead with 4 orks? That destroys any bot within seconds before they can even have a chance to fight back. Might as well swich out a new bot when you see it coming. Yeah, the bot is a beast...when its in stealth. Otherwise they all run like scolded dogs aftaid to take a hit and more often lose battles because of thier cowardliness. How is there any honor "beating" someone who cant shoot you back? Must be some kind of new studliness that i cant comprehend. Every battle, they start out trying to fight with regular bots. When they start to realize they cant hang then they gotta pull out the bich bots and go full stealth the whole time until they win. Sick. Just....how low can you get? Yes, they beqt me a lot. I dont use any new bots or weapons, all old school because i dont believe this new kind of warfare is legit. Nobody needs any kind of skill with this stuff. Its all hiding until a stalth abush presents its self and not like they can gonout and find it. The only time a stealth bot chases anyone down is if it can respawn and run to a natasha which cant really fight back. Makes me sick to think that this is how low the thinking process needed for this game has sunk. Pathetic. You all suck ballz badly. Cant fight unless you have a steep advantage. My bet is he stays hidden while firing his "old school" aphids, Zenits, and hydras...you know like someone who isn't a coward. |

so... In short, opSpectre is EXCLUSIVELY a champ league problem? The 1% are crying because equipment is too OP in the highest possible tier of competition? Am I reading this right? I'm not sure how many times I need to say it. The problem isn't just a couple of spectres on the field. The problem is literally the whole field is nothing but spectres, pursuers & the occasional inquisitor. Sometimes you see a mercury but not that often. Stealth bots have become easy to run the battlefield with. The proof is human nature itself. People like to take the easy way. The easy way is to run these types of bots. Just my 2 cents on it. Take it, leave it. Go play with nothing but a stealth hangar or grow big balls and fight without a hangar full of them like I do. I guess I must have some pretty big balls then running Garteth, cossack and Leo in diamond. |

The tears, frustration, and cursing of all the Red pilots I wreck with my orkan spectres bring me pleasure. I don't care what anyone thinks. I like running a glass cannon bot. Its fun. Note: I don't run shocktrains at all. That actually WOULD make me a skill-less super dooosh. Lol wow, that is brutal. ST's may be hard to manage for you but I have run a st/spectre (L10st/L6spectre) but have never been able to clean the field with it.
Multiple st on one team is rough but not impossible.
I get the feeling that every one that is against Spectre or Shocktrain or what ever are those that dont have them. Running either of those or both is not as easy and brainless as this thread has boasted.
However, I am glad for the nerf to both of them. It is the squads of them that I cant even compete with.
But look, the Bulwark will be the new spectre mark my words, then you will switch your hate to the squads of BWs
Sometimes there is no pleasing anyone. You can please all of the people some of the time, some of the people all the time but not all the people all of the time. Sometimes game devs just give up.

Well, you stealth pilots basically said what i didnt need to. You like it when the opponent cant fight back. Pretty weak 「dookie」 right there. If you didnt have stealth YOU mofos would be dust instantly. You CANT play without it. I kill all the stealth bots all the time. Like i said before its not a matter of evolving. The only evolution here is lil babies that need safety nets to hang amd the go around bragging like they're something. You aint 「dookie」. You hide behind stealth ambushes and energy/ancile shields. Without those safety nets you CANT hang. Yes. Ive been playing since about 6 mo. after the game launched. Ive seen all the transitions. Each update became more about "i can shoot you and you cant shoot me and i win". Damn, what a studly concept and how brave of you. You must be something special. The main problem i have with stealth(easy mode)bots is that they NEVER attack unless they use stealth. So whats the point then? Avoid it? Try that when the whole field is lit up with stealth icons and theyre running towards your spawn point at mach 5. Sounds pretty easy until you're in that situation. SOMEONE on the team has to try something at some point. Most of you lil biches wanna hide the whole time and wait with your ambush bs. At that point it just depends on whose side has more stealth and when they deploy. I wouldnt use that easy mode crap if I was paid for it. Its just....「meow」 as it gets. Go ahead, think youre something great. We ALL know the real truth in that. Now i see a bunch of you are the ones whining because theyre going to nerf things and even the field a bit. GOOD! just use a Fury/Zenit or Patton/Nori target those Spec and go to Town make sure your Nori's or Zenits are lvl8 or better. you should be able to finish one off in two Salvo's if they haven't found a Ancile Shielded bot to hug. Shotties or Tulus are great at taking them out or if you wanna find out who has a dou¢heir build go Hydra and target them Hahaha. Love Noricums killing Specs. How many times have I been trolled on this very forum for killing specs with a single noricum golem ? Hahahah I’m even called newb or camper etc because I don’t want to run within range of said death bot magic win button orkan combo. Even posting vids and pics of the hits hehebe |

It is just impractical. I mean I see the stealth bot coming with bare eyes and filed my minigun, how come I cannot hit it? In other words, Only pursuer is a problem, the rest, I see them, I pew pew, cannot lock down, fair.

recently I had an over confident shotgun quizzy jump in to finish off my little strider ... he was in stealth but I just kept pumping gusts into his 「bum-bum」 ... when he came out of stealth he was about 25% health left
Just because they are in stealth doesn't mean you can't hurt them ... it's just another 'thing' to deal with ... like anciles

Additionally, if brawling (CQC) is the only 'fair' method of combat, in 99% of engagements, the higher leveled "stronger" bot would win, regardless of 'skill'. Let's be honest, legacy robots don't walk, they crawl. The legacy dynamic was slow in all aspects, including turret rotation. This is why high leveled mag geps could literally run circles around bigger bots. One could conceivably run a mag gep in most matches and most did. People complained and pixo responded now you would be hard pressed to see a mag gep anywhere except low level league play and even then, it would be rare.
It's combat. sometimes the other guy as a bigger gun. Do you take your bullets and go home or do you figure out how to defeat goliath with your david? If one thinks they're entitled to a win because of the time spent leveling a hanger to have the strongest brawlers on the block, the point of combat is lost on that individual. Diverse hangars are the way to go so any situation is accounted for. And one does not need multiple hangars to achieve this, especially in lower leagues (say, below expert). A good midrange support bot takes as much, albeit a different, skill than knife fighters. Skills like utilizing splash to damage enemies behind cover, curving hydras for the same purpose, using the 100 of extra range of some weapons to ones advantage and maintaining that range to extend the survival of that bot. How many times do you see zeus/gekko leos get inside tulumba range...or even orkan range? more times than necessary from my experience. Trying to brawl with those weapons isn't a skill, it's a team liability. Knowing and exploiting your bot and it's capabilities as well as the opponents' is a pilot skill, not charging into a gaggle of reds looking to regulate with a PDB. It ain't gonna happen.
There was a time when Gollum was a really popular knife fighter because of it's generous hard points, high HP and quick mobility. It used to have the elevated heavy hardpoint where the medium hardpoint is now and light and medium were on the same side, so it's corner shooting game was strong, PLUS it moves relatively quickly compared to a grif, natasha or rhino giving CQC engagements a measure of 'skill'. The current head-to-head weapons pointing at the floor method of brawling I see so often nowadays isn't skill based, it's based on power; who's got the higher leveled bot. And often times I'll see the combatants either destroy each other or the bot left standing is so weak, it's easily picked off by a stray molot round.
IMO, brawling just exacerbates the 'power creep'. Mid and long range combat gives lower leveled f2p players a fighting chance at least. The ability to survive is cowardly? I think not, it beats meching out 'bravely' and leaving your team short a pilot.
Having said that, shocktrains aren't that effective against a good team, however a team of shocktrains is a real PITA...
