Karma doesn't exist when you change your display theme, so it really doesn't matter. To tag someone, you just add @ behind their username, eg ashanbhatoa . To quote a post, press quote on that post. |

I think it's the amount of 'likes' you've gotten from other users on your posts. The thumbs up doodad in the upper right corner.

Yep, Karma is based on how many likes you have received on your past posts.
