I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed... But I have been playing my guts out trying to up my clan ranking, and it seems I'm one step forward and 8 steps back all the time... I'm getting kills, capping Beacons, receiving capture points...have moved in a day from low EXPERT III to mid EXPERT II....but every time I check clan ranking, we've lost points... even when I'm playing alone and winning...
I'm set up as a "violent beacon capper" so it's not normal for me to get "lots" of kills, but over the past 2 days it's normal for me to get 5-6 kills and collect 3-4 beacons....
I don't get it...
Will someone, using SMALL WORDS, please explain to me 「whiskey tango foxtrot」 I need to do to help my clan?

Unfortunately, the point gains you're making are probably being offset by the point losses coming from one/some of your clanmates.
Tis the new clan ranking system.

I like my clan....memberwise....we joke and 「female dog」 and generally socialize.... But it looks like we will be stuck in "G" league forever...and that's kinda embarrassing.... I'm no superstar....but I like to accomplish goals....and clan tasks are another tool to upgrade equipment without spending money I don't have....

If i may suggest, start by coordinating with others in your clan. Its good to use the forum as a resource and a great medium to bounce things, but this is an essential conversation among you and your teammates. If youre not already having these conversations then all the things u listed are not the problem - communication and organization are. Start w those two things, then be willing to fail but ready to work on those things and u will progress, but only as a team.

If your clan is stuck in G then your members are either: *not enough *not active *not moving up Probably all of the above. Took me about 3 months to get enough active members to advance my clan to D. Must have fired/hired hundreds of ppl to achieve that.

I can't fault a guy for being in the negatives, at least he is playing. Ia m not trying to build a top ranking clan, that is too much work, but I wont have a storage shed for less than active players. they can stay solo. That being said, those members that carry a negative score are the ones that are killing your ranking. get used to it and just have fun.

My policy: *no negative rankings *active atleast every weekend *ppl who are active in chat/squad will be kicked after ones who are not If one does not move up (especially from silver/gold), does not play weekly and does not chat/squad... it's just pointless for him to be in a clan. I don't need a top clan either but, imo, those requirements are simply the minimum for a clan to make any sense.

It's not necessarily their fault but I like the rest of the requirements.

Took me 11 days to get back up to 0 points. On December 1st, I squadded and lost several battles with my clanmates. We don't use komms nor play as a coordinated team. We had a mixture of Champs, Masters and Experts who all prefer different modes. We played a few BR matches, then a few TDM matches, and then a few Dom matches. Kept losing because we just didn't play well together. But that's okay because I only join clans for the in-game chat. I have Discord but never use it for War Robots.
I used Discord for games with important clan/guild events coordinated by the game devs. If this game had "mandatory" scheduled clan events where clans had to fight every weekend at a certain time... I'd take clans more seriously.

I'm sure you're doing some of this, but it didn't seem like you original post emphasized it enough, but......
SQUAD, SQUAD, SQUAD, and SQUADDDD!
Pretty much if i'm playing, then i'm squading, at least with one other guy.

I played a match recently and saw that a clanmate was on my team. Had we created a squad, we probably wouldn't have won the match if the MM works the way many claim it does on this forum. We would've been matched against stronger opponents just for being in a squad vs being random teammates.

At least in my experience, I've seen the evil magic number as 3 clanmates squadded when the MM throws you to wolves. What we actually do is tell everyone to squad unless you end up at 3, then one go solo and 2 others pair up. Once you get to 4 in a squad, you got a better chance of benefiting and less chance of 「dookie」 randoms but still not ideal. Then if you get 5 then of course even better with just one random. 3 though... ugh... terrible beatdowns with that number.
