Bruh...as you've probably realized if you've actually read this thread, or if you'd read ANYTHING at all about 6PL before posting this topic... 6PL is voluntary-participation only. It's not Pix-sponsored or part of the official game. It was designed for those who want to play the way the game used to be and hate the new component crap (or at least most of it). 6-Pack is about the old days of War Robots, the "Golden Age" if you will. Again, next time I suggest doing at least a tiny bit of research before you come on here and post something like this. It'll be far less amusing for the rest of us, but you'll definitely feel less foolish afterwards.
Sorry I don't have the time to research... Then get used to being laughed at for posting threads like this. Literally, all you had to do was read one thread about 6PL before posting. Or maybe you could've asked about it first if you weren't sure you knew how it worked. Either one would have been far more productive than what you ultimately chose to do. There's no harm in asking questions, but speaking authoritatively without sufficient knowledge is a recipe for disaster.

I think arguments exist about why 6pack can still be improved upon: it requires some effort to set up games, the tournament games always seem to start before the sun comes up PST, lack of silver payout rewards, you spend more time waiting for everyone to organize themselves than actually playing, etc, but the gameplay itself is top notch and is very nostalgic for those of us that played in 2016 and early 2017. True, wait times used to be a real pain. I think one time it took almost 15 minutes...but they have improved drastically and it also helps that more and more pilots are playing. Last night was "Light Bot" night and it was a blast. I think there were almost 30 pilots.....fun times for sure. It's refreshing to not have to see the floating eyeballs in the air constantly. Beholder issues? I'm not sure what you are talking about with floating eyeballs?

The wait times have come down dramatically. I should make a video about how quickly a game can be put together. Just get on the Discord channels, type "@ android or @ios anyone up for some games?" and generally you can put together at least 4v4 in 5-10 minutes. Or come to one of the schedule practices/fight nights and you'll get hours of games. Android Fight Night is tonight at 9pm EST. True, wait times used to be a real pain. I think one time it took almost 15 minutes...but they have improved drastically and it also helps that more and more pilots are playing. Last night was "Light Bot" night and it was a blast. What got me really confused about this is the similarity of the name Tesla with the name ntesla who is in 6 pack. It got me thinking paranoid thoughts that It had to be one of: Coincidence, dissatisfaction or trolling.
Then I realised it isn't the same name and I am being way too paranoid.

You can use whatever gear you like if you commit to playing with a level-6 hangar on the live server!

Great thread folks. Most points FOR 6-Pack have been touched upon and even some of the draw backs.
But one essential of 6-Pack is affordability. Component gear is not as easy to obtains as silver, gold or WSP, despite what Pixonic or others may think. Plus the older gear is quicker and cheaper to upgrade than the component stuff. The purpose or goal of 6-Pack is equality regardless if the pilot is an aged vet or a wet behind the ears rookie. And even a raw out of the box hanger has some measure of competitiveness, as compared to MM where to compete one has to upgrade gear before it can be used. And within a few weeks or a month, everyone has about the same hanger quality.
For the rookies, 6-Pack is a bit difficult since there are no post-match rewards, no silver, no gold, no nothing. So if those who think 6-Pack is a part of War Robots were the exclusive can enjoy the perks of the game without having to face shocktrains, forget it. To 6-Pack is to play the game simply for the enjoyment of the competion and the fellowship of other similar minded individuals.
To repeat some of the comments about 6-Pack. It is a component of the War Robots community you have to want to be part of because it is not a feature of the game. We have to assemlble the teams manually using the custom match feature. Thus to 6-Pack, you have to join a community. You have to share facebook info, or join a clan. You have to be invited in. Thus, it is not forced upon anyone such as KOTH or TDM.
You have to seek us out and we want to be sought. We want our communities to grow so we can accommodate all flavors of 6-Pack, even a component inclusive variant.

Beholders are no joke. Survived a vivid encounter with one once, and then later used a wand to summon an image of it to scare the crap out of an angry mob of peasants threatening to kill my party...while I was dragging 2 unconscious party members to a friendly location. Saved the campaign that night...

I am not entirely clear sure but, the 6pack games are all old school lvl 6 bots/equip? Like pre workshop1? I started playing when the 3rd map was introduced back when geckos & aphids & rogs were all gold and the orkkan was far scarier than it is now.... Back when a thunder punisher T boa was a good bot, how do you all set up matches?
And why so hard on the original poster fellahs? If he didn't play back then he would have no idea how different the game was.... Anyways I gotta look up something about the workshop, later.

Something tells me you too do not understand what 6Pack is or is all about. Also, Holy Necro Batman!

For the same reason you may find yourself taking shots. Neither of you bothered to look up what 6pack actually is. There's an ENTIRE subforum dedicated to it, and by extension, no excuse for such vague inarticulate inaccuracies.

Indricotherium & Thunderkiss, you guys are exactly the kind of people I don't like forums for- When a person ask a question about your project is to berate for not knowing about your stupid project, you guys are jerks..... I would prefer to express this in a much more vehement and flourrid style but I doubt the comment would be posted. Instead of being pompous blowhards why not inform the people about your capped league and perhaps increase your league player base?
May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits, fie upon you both!
