I see a lot of players with level 10 equipment and higher in Diamond 3 on Android. Can't get fair match, almost always underleveled. Why do so many people tank??? In life on average scum people are the minority but in War Robots they are majority. What's the heck???

9 and 10 was common in diamond for as long as I've been there with some that are 11-12
It's gotten worse last couple weeks.. lots of 11-12.. usually at least one 12mk2 (if not a full hanger than at least partial)
I think pressure from recent changes is pushing some players down the leagues.
but 10 was always common far as I've seen, I my self am holding in diamond with lv10 gear the goal.

It’s literally no holds barred there. So in reality, that’s common and where they should be. For my own advice, I always used to run different setups, constantly switching things, and I figured out that when you’re on a losing streak, it’s best to switch over to light bots (it’ll be over quick) and then when you start winning again go ahead and switch back to your power hangar. Jesse (aphids), stalker (gust), cossack (scourge/Taran), Gareth (orkans); those are all good setups to start with considering you can actually contribute to team play and still drop some of your stats to find easier competition. This is assuming you do not have multiple hangars like I do, and have the option of having separate setups for all your needs. Good Luck |

Nemo, I've noticed a trend that you haven't said a single positive thing about this game in your brief but many posts. Why don't you do yourself a favor and quit. I get it, the game can suck but the relentless venting suggests it's getting to you. Do yourself a favor and take a break and maybe when you come back you'll find the things that made you like it again.

I've been in Diamond III for some time now, with quite a lot of Lv10 gear and higher, but to be honest, I'm barely holding on these days. I don't have any dash bots, only have two stealth bots that are effective right now, and most of my weapons are old school. I have a few new toys, but it takes so long to level them they just end up on the back burner. So I level the setups that I am familiar with and play best with. I keep one slot in each hanger (2) to rotate in new bots and weapons to try, but if I get close to dropping down to Gold I'll swap them back out for the tried & true. I've often wondered if people thought I was a tanker. I guess now I know. Is "lingerer" an appropriate classification? I have no desire to tank down to Bronze or Silver to club for Ag payouts; however, I know I don't have power to survive in Expert yet. So I linger in Diamond to make sure I get the higher payouts on supply drops and honor points chests.

I only run mediums now even though I’m plenty capable of running a spectre shocktrain among other things. I almost prefer to not run my heavies, even though I am upgrading them |

It's therapeutic after all. I agree. Pixonic is not listening, so he can whine at least to other forum members. Nemo, what about posting some guys in the "Report a tanker" thread? Or even better "Wall of shame"? You can vent there, too  I can say I was stressed some time ago about the state of the game, tankers and everything else. Right now most of the time I don't care if someone kicked my butt with MK2 weapons. I play for the sheer fun and most of the time I don't care about rankings. Most of the incentives (Gold/Super Chest) are below my expectations, so I grind out of habit than for "I have to get this cute gun" feeling. |

I am perpetually in Gold 1 OR dIAMOND 3 up and down like a yoyo. Most of my robots are L9 - with a few exceptions for old school robots like my Griffins
My weapons are also rarely higher than L9.
I am a 'fun' player and I am happy in the mid leaugesI relish having a pop at L12 players when they appear in D3 or even G1 and they are there all the time.
Its a mixed league mid table - thats the way it is. I know there will be some 'tankers' but not nearly 'everyone' as you seem to incorrectly assume.

I agree, though I do my best to avoid dropping a league, as that affects your resource payouts. During the last real event, I think the anniversary one with the Haechi at the end not the Memorial Day one with ridiculous goals for very little payout, I tried to stick it out for my first dash bot, but in doing so got clubbed all the way back down to Silver I. Tanking is a day-to-day problem, and everyone has a quick fix, myself included, but the events are like Mardi Gra or Carnival for tankers. Time to PAR...TAY! And being in the mid-leagues means we get them on the way down, then again on their way back up. So I put the tablet down until things level back out to the occasional MK2/12 here and there, not whole teams of them. On the upside, it does make brawlers like me learn defense and evasion tactics. So hey, they're doing me a favor.  |

Take yourself back down to Gold so you can mine silver and gold, build up your hangar before progressing. Don’t hate the player hate the game. Pixonic is trying to frustrate you into spending real money to progress. |

a don't Tank but have found myself back down in D1 from E2 getting matched against multi layer,Champions League mkII maxed hangars along with Tankers an Leavers who happen to be on the Blue team with me. i have had only about 7 or 8 matches in the past week when i'am on a Full team and if i'am on a full team they are said mkII maxed Champions League and multi layer.
so usally i'am low on the Totem pole as i run lvl9 bots an lvl 9,10 weapons. the wins i get a couple points mostly from beacons,since alot of times only one or two Blue's will atempt to get them. so the losses hurt more since i lose gobs of points.
for some reason if i make it back to EL and start to near the EL battle reward i somehow end up going on a losing streak and lose my chance to get those Tokens fom the EL rewards chest.

Been playing for a while now. its pretty obvious that the entire game is set up as a cash cow. Sell you the ultimate weaponry then offer you the bot thats immune to it. Turning a blind eye to tankers because thats what makes noobs spend more on gold. Match making thats just a joke. Total disregarde to any complaints about any or all of the above. Ye i sound bitter.. who here loves being ripped off!!??

Iâve always had a mix of different level equipment, but some of the old school gear really needs level ten to keep up even in Diamond league.
Ever since the dash bots, theyâve been tossing in 「dookie」 that will pwn classic gear.

In the past, 8/8 - 9/9 was good enough for me to get through all of Diamond and into Expert 3. Been awhile since I've had to do that though, no idea what it's like there nowadays, but a couple of clan mates are in Diamond with 8/8 - 10/10 hangars and seem to be treading water there.

its the influx of farmers not tankers that you all have noticed an increase of in the lower leagues. players squading up, boosting up and farming loyalty points super fast by NOT dropping so you get to open all of your chests faster for the tokens,components,and silver. tankers WANT to drop to lower levels farmers dont. we farmed but watched and didnt let out trophy points drop below 5000. that wold have dropped us down and we would lose our champion chest. hate all you want but when we see ALL the other clans doing it it puts you at a huge disadvantage not to join in until pix fixed it. i dont have money to waste on this game but do still spend a little each month, some premium time, some tickets here and there. the three times i farmed with my guys, seriously farmed im talking starting and not stopping till i got to my champion chest, was able to get three of the new weapons with the quick influx of components from the War Robots ROYAL and the chests. also, between all 3 times with the tokens i got pretty lucky finding big gold in the War Robots ROYAL, at least 4000 gold each time.

I am wondering if the tankers are in the lower leagues for the farming, or so they can be the big fish in the pond with no real chance of being challenged. Skirmish this week is Free for all, WHERE IT IS A TOTALLY EVEN PLAYING FIELD (everyone has the same bots) and when I check the players stats, I have yet to see one person in there where their regular hanger is a maxed out MK2 Hanger. Almost all lower leagues, and there are some really skilled players in there! The Tankers more or less seem to be akin to gankers in World of Warcraft (one shot much weaker players so they feel better about their lack of skill).

I’m on iOS, and level 9/10 is fairly common even in gold. While I’m chilling in expert with my level 6 bots and 6-9 weapons... I’ve wondered if tanking is just that common. I don’t think it is. I think real tankers are obvious when looking at thier profile. Low win % yet very high level meta builds and thousands of victories, but somehow in Gold or below. There are also lots of poeple that maybe have played for a long time, but play very casual. They would have few victories, mid win % but still decently levels hangars and often still in lower leagues.

I have profiles on two platforms. Currently I run a Champion profile on Amazon. I attained that rank with three slots using 4/4 equipment. That was February of 2017. Played a few months and then quit playing on Amazon for a little over 9 months. Started playing in it again January of this year with 6-7 gear.
Playing moderately, and having never spent a dime on that profile, I have worked up to level 9 bots and 10-12 equipment that I run regulary maintaining my Champion status. Admittedly it is far easier on the Amazon servers. I have one 10 bot, Leo, and one Mk2 9 weapon, Thunder. I have three non-legacy bots. A 9 Hover, a 9 Inquisitor, and an 8 Kumiho. I have sold 15 Tempests, 17 Storms, 23 Gusts. I acquired a lot of these components obviously. Not sure how others have faired in that regard but here is a list of what premium gear I have managed toacquire for free since I started.
I still have eight Tempests(one at 8], eight Storms(two at 6), and eight Gusts(three at 10, one at 6) along with three Vortexs(two at 12), three Shocktrains(two at 11), one Ember at 6, one Dragoon at 8, one Exodus at 5, one Avenger at 4, two Spark(one at 7, one at 4), one Ballista, one Scourge, and two Arbalest. Oh yes, three Shredders that Iwonhere inthese forums(one at 5, two at 4). That is the extent of my post dash equipment and that was me working the Royales and trading WSP and some Au for components the entire time. This does not include Gold and Silver bots and weapons that I have won or acquired of which I have plenty and more.
Compared to my Android profiles that I worked on for nearly three years off and on the Amazon profile is far superior in equipment. Best equipment in either of my Android profiles is a Mk2 12 Destrier in my all light bot profile. My main Android profile has mostly 6-9 equipment with only a few at 10-11. This profile reached a max of Expert but yo-yoed up and down between Bronze and Diamond because I refused to play just one type of hanger all of the time and I sure as hell do not allow anyone but me to dictate what I play with or for how long.
I have never deliberately tanked my ranking. It sure as hell happened though. But then I have never once given a 「dookie」 about those ridiculous "league" rankings either. Why should I? Why should anyone in a game where you can play with any equipment that you have in your hanger no matter what it's rating? Especially when leagues were designed for organizing groups of teams and not individuals? More especially when rank tanking was deliberately designed into the game? PIXONIC did this on purpose and with malicious intent. No, I always played hard for the win no matter what equipment I ran in the Android servers. Those 「fluffernutter」ing ranks are just a pathetic joke just as much as those stupid "leagues" are.
Only a complete fool would not recognize that their ranking system could/would be manipulated if they designed it in that manner. So PIXONIC has to choose. Are they simply fools, or did they do this bat 「dookie」 crazy ranking system by design? Funny how if it is not by design that they make all sorts of noise claiming that they deplore rank tanking while doing absolutely nothing at all to actually fix their obviously flawed system. And the LPQ is for tankers? LMAO!! Just like the old Leavers Queue was too. But that one was actually named correctly. It, like the new LPQ, is only used to punish players who can't stand the new modes and/or maps so much that they dump them one time too many for PIXONIC's ego to bear. Only a complete moron of a tanker will ever see the inside of that hell.
