My War Robot Story, by The Candy Man

I posted a while ago, that I started playing War Robots almost 3 years ago. Before that I played Call of Duty and Armored Core (this is relevant later on as you read some of my stuff). But back to War Robots, yes I started War Robots in the British bot era (When Lancelot, Galahad and Gareth just came out) it was also the era of the infamous tri-mag Gepard.
Now, imagine the following situation: picture yourself as a level 7 baby pilot with a 2 bot hangar and a Destrier and a Cosack as your robots. You eagerly press the battle button and when the battle starts you see everyone disoriented, learning to move the bots, figuring out how to aim and shoot, little spirals flying towards the enemy Destrier and your trying to keep that A/C Molot steady, when suddenly hear this horrid sound *pew* *pew* *pew* as it grows louder you see your robot’s hp rapidly draining, then suddenly up you go, your bot’s destroyed and you see this weird looking grey bot running like hell shooting an array of strange plasma weapons (Magnums). Congratulations you’ve been sealclubbed by the infamous tri-mag Gepard! But you’re new you think maybe he got you while you were distracted so you take out your Punisher Cosack and you go out to hunt that son of a gun. You shoot your punisher and you see that his hp barely goes down (back in the day Gepards started with like 81,000 hps at lvl 1) now the Gepard who is killing your buddy in the Destrier finishes his job and turns to look at you… yes that is the moment you say to yourself “oh $#17!” 2 seconds later your bots destroyed, you look at the screen perplexed at what just happened. Game ends you look at the results screen, the pilot in the weird bot just killed 12 bots earned 10 gold as he took all beacons while destroying everything in his path.
Now I want you to imagine that one of every two games you played you would encounter someone piloting that blasted tri-mag Gepard or worse he had a whole clan of tri-mag Gepards buddies with him, needless to say that if the latter happened the game was over in less than 2 minutes. Now imagine this happening to you for 6 months straight as you leveled up, you buy yourself a Patton to try and kill those Gepards, you take it out for a test drive only to find out it gets killed quicker than the Destrier because it’s so slow and the Gepard just dances around you peppering you with 3 magnums. Then you buy yourself a Boa same story but the sturdy Boa lasts a long time, then you get the idea that maybe that weapon called Thunder is the right tool for the job so you save silver for it and buy it. “Get ready for round 3 you f%$#” you say as you select your Boa and go hunt that son of a female dog down and BOOM, after a gruesome battle that freaking Gepard lies in pieces on the ground dead, your badly damaged Boa standing proud on top of it…Happy ending? WRONG!! Another Gepard appears and another and another because he has 5, and all equipped with magnums in his hangar. That pilot in the Boa was me…this is my War Robots story. Want to read more?
