Well, this sure was a great game.
The lag has been killing me for weeks, I never start a game in the first 10 seconds and struggle to hit because nothing is really where I think it is. It was JUST bearable though.
Then I complained to Pix... HUGE mistake.... since then the problem is so bad my last 10 battles I did less than 100K damage.
Handing the account over to my kids. I'll check in on here to see what's happening out of curiosity and might still play the odd game or come back if things suddenly improve (it won't).
I made a lot of friends on here, some particularly excellent ones. You know who you are and you will be very missed.
To the mods, thanks for this amazing resource. Best game forum I've been a part of.

Same.
Wasn't strong enough to quit even after 4.0 and probably wouldn't have if it weren't for the lag I had the other day.
I play like 10 games a month but constantly grabbing 1 dollar offers and watching ads because I don't have time to play.
After 5 games yesterday where I got 150k damage, I saw what it did to me.
I couldn't even talk to my family without flipping because of how pissed this game made me, never again.

Sad to hear that. Although to my knowledge we have never crossed paths in the game I have felt some sort of kinship with you for building towards a meta mk2 hangar the F2P way like I do myself. Personally I don't experience the lag and hope I won't in the future either.
Here's hoping Pix gets their ?dookie? together and fix it. At least the 4.1 update has hints of some "optimization" work. Maybe test the waters then? Otherwise there is always 6-pack - I am hearing custom games aren't affected as badly.
And lastly, if this is just to excuse a tanking exercise (my kids are playing my account), then well done ;-)

For me the lag has gotten SLIGHTLY better the last few days but it's still bad.
Dash bots already zip around the battlefield but with lag they seem to warp from your target box to halfway across the map.
The worst is when I'm targeting a jumping bot. I'm looking to open fire when they hit the ground but the freeze in midair and suddenly reappear several hundred meters away.

Take a break bud. Hope you stick around here. I almost threw in the towel a couple of nights ago. The tanking and clubbing was ridiculous and I found myself falling halfway through Masters 2. Probably the worst losing streak I've had. Try this week's Skirmish for giggles and laughs though.

It's a series of 3 seperate football matches that only go for about 100 minutes... little 「cotton headed ninny muggins」 was born right at the end of game 3, the decider. Screw him. |

Very sorry to see you go. You helped me a lot in the past in planning for my first Champions League hangar, not only in bot/wep selection but in providing the reasons for the suggestions. Thanks, again.
For me, I'm MK2ing my grandfathered items, but as things stand my gaming will probably fade as I become non competitive vis-a-vis new economy weps and bots.
What keeps me going now is mainly clan loyalty (I run with one of the top clans). But with a game that is full of tech issues (on a recent single game I counted six disconnects while using reliable high speed internet connection) and because of the current state of the game which makes it impractical for me to use items I get due to upgrade costs/time, I'm probably going make the same decision as you soon.
I don't mind PIX making money, I mind the vicious cycle they put the game into by rapid introduction of OP weps and bots. The game needed calming down not going into a full blown OP hysteria, in which you simply march maxed OP builds full guns blazing in the hope of having a marginal edge over the other side.

Taking a break isnt a bad thing. I play less, my average is 300-400 cups a week.
Ive the same probz on my old phone LG L90 (all smooth till 3.8) With my new phone Moto G6 Plus i dont experience probz.
The forum is a nice place and maybe things will be better with a few Gameupdates. I know for sure a lot Trixonics staff are with Holiday so they couldnt address issues many experience with 4.0 in time.
Just stay around dude-)

I can collect chests and do a decent chunk of skirmish maps, but regular MM just kills the app. I've had no luck getting my account moved to my phone, either. |

You are in Australia so I think you have access to the android open beta. Ver. 1.4.1 is the latest. Any progress you make (gear, currency, titans) you keep (hangers will never be reset).

But if your decision is based on lag rather than all the rest of the War Robots nonsense, well then maybe a full exit is what's needed. I usually don’t have serious issues with lags. But after 4.0, I started getting lags, not the kinds that make jumping bots stutter in the air, but those give me a chance to forget about things and go back to my hangar. An example last night (or the night before):  This happened to be a TDM against Rice Patty Daddy and his CDxx people. I was out almost two minutes and disconnected once again later in the game. This has been so frequent these days I ended up minding where I should park my robots when it disconnected, so that I can have a chance to cone back to the same bot, |

Interesting, Iâve not posted on it yet, but since the last update I also seem to have much more lag than normal; itâs not so much at the start of battle, just seems to be everytime I try to fire the Noricums Iâve been testing and upgrading for the last 2 to 3 weekâs. It nearly makes them unusable; normally I lead targets quite well but recently with those the second I hit fire I get 2 or so seconds of lag and the enemy warps to a slightly different place. Itâs not every single time, but enough to make those weapons nearly useless and the game incredibly frustrating. From what you stated, I guess Iâll avoid complaining to Pix. Thank 「fluffernutter」 I donât play much, I wouldnât want to deal with that nonsense daily. |

Oh no Flash..... severe leg must be frustrating indeed but I suppose that is something they would address as a high priority because the game becomes unplayable. Sad to see you go and will miss your contribution (if you end up going :-) ).
But as you said you will be checking in so lets see if this is a permanent decision or not ;-)

There's no reaching Pixonic with any kind of reasoning. They are driving this game to the ground and they don't care.
I don't even enjoy the game anymore thanks to the lag, mm, boosters, game modes.
