Aphids?

Why do Aphids disappear when I die? I am talking about when I fire them and then die. I think they should stay in flight until they hit some one or something. Not just vanish from game. If you shoot a gun and then die magic bullets do not disapear. Should this be changed?

I noticed the other day that Zenits and Noris keep coming after the Artillery bot dies. Totally unfair.

Yes they do and it's stupid. We all agree with you there!
Any solid ammunition (rockets/bullets etc) that has already been fired when you die should continue on to hit the target. It should only be continuous fire energy weapons that stop the moment their source of energy is destroyed.

Ember now does the same thing... looks really strange to see a lingering horizontal pillar of fire in mid-air.

I think the reasoning is that with a guided missile, the guidance dies with the bot that fired it.
Rockets (Orkans, Exodus, piñatas, Tulumbas, Pins), bullets and artillery are unguided though, so I think they should continue to impact if the bot dies. I don't know if they do or not.

I think the reasoning is that with a guided missile, the guidance dies with the bot that fired it. Have you seen Vortex when the bot dies? It’s cool, the missiles all fly apart. Imagine Themite acts the same way, but Aphids either disappear (usually) or continue to the target (occasionally).

Aphids are actually Kung Fu masters' Ki blasts, like Kamehameha they are spiritual, once the blaster's soul passes to the void of death, his ki also disappears from the mortal world...

I think it's stupid that they disappear, but it does look cool.
