The moment you bought some gold for an upgrade, the moment you opened up your wallet, the real game was on! They've got you by balls and now they're squezing hard. They understand psychology and put it to a lucrative use!
Of course it was going to come to this, greed does not know limits! They don't care.

Nope. Will complain till the end of time. Just cause I know it bothers you. ??
PS. If we comparing wallet to ball size then they have really small hands.

This argument always make me chuckle. The corollary is also true you know - those free to play players that happily grinded an unreasonable amount of hours to win a random event prize showed Pixo that they could make 40 1st-3rd place wins for a Butch seem like a reasonable task. And that they could implement a new economy with huge silver costs and upgrade times, all because you grinder types showed Pix you're willing to play this thing like a job.

Grinding ensures a reasonable amount of players are available for gameplay. But the money incentibe came from YOU the "winners", the first who "felt the need to win" was worth a few hundred dollars, then justified it as "good entertainment". Why do YOU need to WIN so badly?

Good said but there are factors that will work against them: The bad server, bugs and plenty other negative issues.
Because of those bad factors many will play less and eventually stop playing (even new players).
If Pix had a good server (no device heat, game crash, lag) their money game wud be worlds nr.1

For the same reason I don't take my wife out to McDonalds on date night. Enjoyment, plain and simple. Winning has nothing to do with it really.
Thanks for the new economy bub!

Spasiba bolshoi! Definitely...because if you are f2p you are a more noble, honorable and smarter person. Everyone knows that having the freedom to spend money on something enjoyable is wrong. F2p players are better human beings plain and simple. They really know how to enjoy life to the fullest by saving all of their money and never blowing it on having a good time. Working hard and having the money to blow on entertainment is really for losers. It's never good to be excellent. That just leads to terrible things like making excessive income that will never be missed if burned on a mobile game for fun. - sarc off

Ilya Smirnov
“One of the tasks that monetization puts before itself is "breaking through" to the first payment. And there is little that can be as effective in this matter as a starter pack. Of course, you will not fully disclose the payment potential of your audience….”
OP is spot on with his first statement. No doubt about it what so ever.
The real game in this game from the developers side is achieving the first sale, then discovering the payment potential and finally charging accordingly. Pix has been on this mission for over a year.
So yes, we brought this on ourselves indeed. Those who paid are the foremost to blame and those including yours truly because earlier I did buy stuff and premium and so on (not in a whale category tho). However, I am of the opinion that we all have legit reasons for complaining. The basis for the reason for complaints is the unreasonable greed displayed by Pixonic which is devaluing our collective gaming experience. Pixonic is not looking after their customers and not attempting to create a win win outcome.
Imagine if I was a mega whale. Spent $150K for the next set of OP items which makes me capable of utterly blowing my under leveled/under equipped small whale opponents out of the water. …. Everyone pays or grinds or what ever but cant get a decent game. We should complain about that…..

If your partner keeps disrespecting you by cheating on you and you keep taking them back then thats all on you. You let developers 「fluffernutter」 up a game and continue to play then thats on you. The new economy, mm, random mode and now boring game play has made me stop spending money and cut my play time by 75%.

My only complaint is the other 80% of the playerbase who don't read this forum. They will never have any idea how far pix has screwed them. Honestly, I just cant wait to see a Fortnite-PUBG situation

A comment about this being a (primarily) mobile game and the mobile gaming climate caught my attention. It got me thinking about what percentage of people who download and play are under 18, under 15, under 12... and how easily a less experienced, younger individual with access to a credit card would be easily manipulated into spending.
Regarding the OP. I gotta say your line of reasoning is totally bass ackwards man.
You remind me of Stephen, from Django Unchained.

Random mode was forced introduced in order to make it easier for whales to club. I mean they pay the most so THEY get their wishes. Not you, begging for a fairer game!
You can't be chosing a game that YOU think you can win: you are forced in all.
In KOT I mean, you're forced into a tiny area, a perfect target for the whales. They're too lazy to chase you around the map and chance the loss of a precious robot or bruised ego. Can't have that with the money invested.
You bruise your ego first! Because this is exactly what this game is about, it's a game of egos for which your ready to lay down your cash!

What really happens is that pixonic targets the very high spenders. This is several 10'000 $
We are not the target amymore. Certainly not me.
The argument 'I don't go for top lvl gear' does not count for me. I do go for best and I wan't to be top. I invest time and money to reach that goal. But since the game turned to be money only I loose interest.
Why? When I loose a game in the past I thought - made a mistake will do better. Now I think - ah well he spend more. Not my world

Pix greed and the new economy have me playing and caring less about War Robots and I have to think a lot of others are adopting this attitude. Pix may have gotten too smart for their own good finally.
