Probably not, they know who the majority of their players are and why they came so early to support their game, if it goes p2w it'll die before they can realize it. P.S. pay to progress isn't pay to win, different concepts. That's ?slow?!? Pay to progress? War robots, pay to progress, buy bots and weapons, then you progress to champs P2W is pay to get an advantage, such as better bots, or boosters, or whatever, than others playing in the same battles. Pay to progress is to get new stuff, access to higher "tier" (or what ever they might be called) battles etc faster, but without any advantage during a single battle, because other players in your battles would have similar gear and/or because teams would be evenly matched and rewards distributed fairly. War Robots used to be more-or-less "pay to progress" until winter 2017, when leagues were introduced, but has gone downhill at increasing pace since then.

Suppose you installed it on Android, if it only asks for storage permission it's cuz they need it to access obb file and read/write client files under Android/data

Reading more about storage permission it seems apps that need to store data on the hard drive of the device ask this permission, wonder why War Robots doesn't store anything?

People are 「female dog」ing, because they have to play against superior bots and weapons, which are better than what they can get in foreseeable future without paying triple digits, or without playing several hours per day. And this is because leagues don't separate players by power. This is mostly because of tankers, including those who choose to manipulate their league score just enough to stay at a league level where they have superior gear compared to average player of same skill.

The question is how much of an advantage should it be? They should also be grouped in the same matches too and it should not be component vs component gear, non component vs non component gear, or weaker leveled component gear vs higher leveled non component. There should not be a person with all level 10 gear facing a person with all level 12 gear regardless of their equipment. MM should be run how it was initially set up but have a bot/weapon standard deviation limit of a certain percent bring unable to play in that hangar. It would not allow a Champions League player running five level 1 cossacks but one level 12 haechi to play together. You could also have leagues with league restricted weapon and bot levels.
