I have 4/8 Medium bots which puts me in high silver I think? Yes No? I have built up a gold hanger consisting of various heavies including WSP & Gold bots all these bots are at level 6 So would a 6/8 heavy put me in low gold could I go 7/9 with heavies and still be in low gold?
Secondary question if my weps are all level 9 , would 4/9 mediums keep me in high silver?
What I am trying to achieve is to jump between the levels using medium bots for high silver and heavies for low gold but keep my weapons at a level which suits both tiers, I don't want to be in a situation where if I level my weapons to 9 it then puts my medium bots into high gold.
Third question.. Just recently got a carnage which at level 1 and I put some lv 8 tridents on it which bumped my high silver squad in low gold. what level can it go to stay in high silver? 4/6? 4/7?
Thanks

Yes. Gold tier only consist of low and high gold. Anything above 10/11 is high goldSecondary question if my weps are all level 9 , would 4/9 mediums keep me in high silver? Yes, considering if they are not WSP bots. If they're, might put in the border to low goldWhat I am trying to achieve is to jump between the levels using medium bots for high silver and heavies for low gold but keep my weapons at a level which suits both tiers, I don't want to be in a situation where if I level my weapons to 9 it then puts my medium bots into high gold. Fair enough, but high silver and low gold doesn't make much difference. You can still bounce back and forth, especially if you're using a hangar of heavy botsThird question.. Just recently got a carnage which at level 1 and I put some lv 8 tridents on it which bumped my high silver squad in low gold. what level can it go to stay in high silver? 4/6? 4/7? Probably 4/6, but then it would be quite ineffective as Carnage is really squishy and slow in low levelsThanks My answers in RED. Others please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks.

The problem with MM is that you can almost always expect 1-3 reds or blues that are 2 levels higher than you. This is specially true when there's less than 50 players available. I suggest go 7/9 on mediums and heavies to play it safe and you won't go against a max red as often as you would with 10/9.
Also, whenever you include a WSP bot, i.e. Fujin, Carnage, Rhino.. etc, you will go up against the high silver/ low gold crowd. Before the update, I was able to play the base Fujin w/ guns in silver same with the Rhino but the configuration is just too weak. Try the Carnage at L6-5 thunders

So I could level my heavies so they are 10/9 and still be in low gold? or would 9/9 be a safer bet? Always level weapons before bots. Keep weapon level higher than bot level. Bot level can push you to higher tier. Go for 6/8, then 6/9, then 7/9, 7/10, then 8/10, 9/10 before going for lvl11 weapons.

If I level my weps to 10 then my mediums will not be able to use them in high silver.

I am at around Level 6 bots and 8.5 weapons and I am always against 8/10 and do alright. I would keep weapons 2 levels above bot level until level 10 weapons as the jump is so great there. go 6/8, upgrade all weapons to 9 then upgrade bots to 7. Then weapons to 10 then bots to 8. The tiers at the top are very fluid imo due to the smaller playing pool. I would just keep practising flanking and developing situational awareness which I reckon is more important than bot levels at that stage. This is the path I choose and I am doing ok. free

If I level my weps to 10 then my mediums will not be able to use them in high silver. I didn't bother to play in low/mid silver. I skipped straight to high silver/low gold.

If I level my weps to 10 then my mediums will not be able to use them in high silver. Correct... unless you're talking about a Gepard, which can go 4-12 and stay in silver Stick with your plan. Level weps to 9 and just switch bots whenever you feel like going silver or gold.

I ran a 4/9 medium plus 5/10 light (no WSP bots) silver hangar while I was leveling up inventory for a 7/9 heavy and 10/10 medium (with WSP bots) gold tier hangar. I was satisfied with the MM through the transition

I'm in a similar boat as the OP. My med hangar is 4/9 and my heavies are 7-8/9. I'd like to keep upgrading my guns, but from the sound of it, you just won't won't ever be able to come back to silver with lvl 10+ weapons.

Not entirely true. Just use lvl 10-11 weapons on light bots in your silver tier hangar

Going back to silver gives me the chance to get Au / Ag consistently.

Going back to silver gives me the chance to get Au / Ag consistently. I stay in low gold to farm for silver, damage = silver, average around 500k damage per game. And once in a while I get premium due to survey and test server reviews. Instantly farmed 8-9 million within a day.

I play a lot of what my clan calls "high silver." We define that as light bots at 4/12 and mediums at 4/9 - WITH NO WSP BOTS. There is quite a bit of seal clubbing there with level 4 gepards equipped with three level 12 mags each. Ouch. I prefer a varied hanger of other weapons and bots, not just 5 gep-mags. More fair more fun. So I use also Patton-spirals, vityaz with gekkos/Zeus, golem with tulum/crv/trident, rog with orks or tarans. Those are all 4/9. They match well with the gep 4/12's. It's a good hanger. 80% wins easy. More with a good squad. All without seal clubbing . Note: extensive testing shows that even one level 10 weapon on a level 4 bot bumps into low gold. Or use of any wsp bot (carnage fujin etc). Wsp weapons are ok, as are weapons and bots purchased with Au. For "low gold," I use the same high level light weapons (mags aphids pinatas that I use with high silver gepards) with heavy bots (rhino griffin) and new bots like Galahad. My heavy bots I keep at level 6-7. Same with the carnage, which I use with level 9 heavies (from my mediums that I used in high silver- Zeus's and tridents are best). So my low gold hanger is reusing the same weapons as my high silver hanger. I also throw in a 7/9 fury/treb that kills it for sniping those pesky stalkers (half health gone per hit- feels so good each time)(I hate stalkers)(don't we all?) To answer your questions: 4/8 mediums is still high silver (no wsp bots). You can even go up to 4/9. Low gold old works for 7/9 heavies. Maybe more - I haven't checked. I do use a 6/10 rhino that works well. As for carnage, it's a wsp bot; I think it may bump you out of high silver no matter what level . But it's good in low gold; just use it there. Mine is currently 3/9 with Zeus's. An 8/9 carnage bumps me to high gold with max 12/12 bots. I get killed.

Hey guys & girls!
Im currently running running 3 medium's and 1 light.
Lvl 4/6 Boa (thunder/orkan) Lvl 4/6 Boa (thunder/taran) Lvl 4/6 vityaz (magnums/thunder) And lvl 4 gepard (8,9,8 piñatas)
My question is what tier am I in because today I saw a Gareth, and mostly play vs heavies and some mediums/lights here and there...
That Gareth looked pretty interesting but im afraid it will bump me up into a higher tier!
Im saving for that 5th slot but that Gareth is a tempting bugger, I know galahad is a better/good bot but I love these small buggers that can stand their own ground vs bigger bots (love being a underdog)

Get that slot. "Slots b4 Bots, FTW"

I know im missing some midrange/longrange but im more of a knife-fighter, but havent found any setups except Patton for 500-800m range.... The weapons are definitely going to transition to Gold, but the Boa would be the only one that might do well there. Some people are just really good with them and can make the transition to Gold with them just fine... but not everyone can... The lance is the best Thunder/Boa type Gold bot, but a Leo Thunder/Mag or Pinata will do if you don't want/can't get the Lance... But Tarans, Orcs, Pinatas, Mags, (all weapons on your current bots) will be used a lot in Gold on any number of bots. As far as mid-range... if you are happy at the moment, then wait till you get your 5th slot to worry about mid range... and the Patton CRV is fine for Silver tier. I like the Golem Trident Tulumbus CRV setup for midrange at silver... personally. You can change the Trident out with a Zeus for decent results if you have it and not the Trident... But a Vitz Trident 2x Crv is a good Midrange Silver bot, as well... which is a bot you are already using... so may be a better path. And if you like it, and want to keep running a Trident, there are a few options in Gold, but you will want more than one Trident.

If your hangar are all medium bots (non-WSP) and they are lvl4 with lvl6 weapons, you should be in High Bronze, just starting to see Yamantau.

Quitting during the 15s drop timer has no penalty or negative effect to the game whatsoever. Don't quit once the match starts, ie after 15s timer.

But what do you personally think that I should do, are my bots better at higher levels or are they good where I am right now? In like 90% of my games im topscorer both in damage and beacon caps...sure it's good for gold/silver-farming but I dont know... Would like to be a better player, so how is it in silver? Feels like low gold is a Longshot from where I am right now!

Low gold is not a long shot, I'd say you better start "dreaming" a hangar you want to build, because you need to upgrade those weapons now, don't waste your time upgrading weapons you don't plan to use later on. Up tier, time is of the essence, not Ag (that's if you can sustain your Ag amount) Once your weapons hit lvl7, you can directly move them all into heavy bots such as Griffins and Leos (best starting silver-cost heavies) and drop straight into high silver tier, then work your way to low gold from there. Start watching YouTube videos, see what hangar suits you best and draft out a hangar you want to build your way towards.

So alright lets see, my dream hangar would be something like this Carnage Galahad/ + or Gareth (haven't decided if I want both or just one, but probably switch out my gepard for the gareth) BOA-->Leo (i think the Leo is a heavier version of the Boa) And either a Griffin or If I have the gold a Rogatka Then just make put my current weapons on the new bots and keep rocking silvertier or try out some new setups! Thoughts?
