I love my Rog but its not just viable in Low gold, some people can and do use it but its far too squishy in my hands. Its great for silver mind.
Galahad is just a beast, perfect for low gold and you have the plasma already for it.
Leo is not my cup of tea but i have seen it used effectively, hopefully at that point you should have enough WSP for a Rhino....
PS the Lance is considered the heavier version of the Boa and I love mine.

What exactly is the definition of silvertier? Botlvl/weplvl

There are no definitions, I am not a big fan of claiming that your in this tier or that tier. Keep your weapons roughly 2 levels above your bots and you will be fine. Get to a level that you struggle with, get better, move up. Thats the way I see it...

when did 4/8 become silver? I always thought that was high bronze. I thought silver was 4/9 to 6/9-ish?

Want to keep my Galahad & Carnage in Low Gold what levels should they be at? 4/9? 7/9? 9/9? MM is extremely fluid and personal, you need to find your own level. Always keep weapons 2-4 lvls higher than the bot for as long as possible. This makes it easy to find at what point you personally feel you are facing opponents that are too tough. Then you can simply drop 1 or 2 weapons to a lower level and get back to a comfortable experience. Its a lot easier to downgrade weapons than bots, especially a gold or WSP bot. You do not want to get stuck in low gold and only have 1 gold class bot, you need an entire hanger ready to go.
