After nearly a year of silence, I think I have decided to come back and participate in the community. Do not know if you all really want me back or will accept me back, but here I am, once more to distribute my not so humble wisdom and speak up. This is Divine Thunder and from what I can learn, apparently I am still considered a moderator. So, other mods and admins, drop me a PM so I can catch up, if you still are interested in me continuing in that role.

Look forward to knowing you! Oh, I have not quit playing. I am not playing nearly as much as I did in my “youth.” I am more of a causal now, playing mostly to keep the daily tasks cleared but I have kept my hand in the game. Still upgrading and aquiring new equipment. Starting basically from scratch following the MM change in Jan ‘17, i now have a relatively decent hanger capable of knocking on the door of Master 2 and can take down a few champs with me. Not mk1 maxed but gradually working that direction. So, i am familar with the issues facing the community. Most of my current knowledge is from facebook and interjecting there. Decided to come back, because after answering many of the requests and messages on the facebook message board set up for this forum, i started to miss the interaction. I wanted to heard what this community was saying and doing and reacting to how this game is evolving, or devolving. |

Oh, i did not stop playing. I continued to battle. The longest i did not fight was while I was on vacation last year in New Zealand and Tonga. That was about 3 weeks but upgrades continued.

Daughter was in the Peace Corp serving in Tonga. So we had an opportunity to go see her. We met her in NZ, because for her it was like hopping to Canada for us in the US. Spent a week there. Very enjoyable. Driving on left side of road was an adventure. Went to Rotarua and Augland (spelling probably wrong). Visited the Wine Island and soaked in the thermal pools. Spent two weeks in Tonga. Saw most of the big island and spent time at outpr daughter’s school. Actually, taught a little since my first degree is electrical engineering and the phyics teacher was teaching electricity. Interesting place. Now, my daughter is going to Japan to teach English. Probably the next trip.
