I can prove to you that Pixonic is lying to you when they say its on your end! When you reach around 65-70% win rate, your game will start lagging bad. When that starts happening just go and play a match of skirmish, and all of a sudden game works perfectly without any lag,low fps or whatsoever.I think it is their way of creating frustration in players so they start buying better equipment

asie The thing is: War Robots is badly optimized. If at all. Pixonic went the cheapo route and is using the Unity engine, which isn't famous for performance. Even on better devices War Robots lags at times and of course, due to bad optimization, the code your device has to calculate through in order to display the game, heats up your device. It's no IOS or Android issue. Why should it be? A lot of other games work perfectly while War Robots doesn't. The issue is badly optimized code on their client software.

Its like Skirmiss is running on a New server. Very strange. But the thing about frustrating peepz Ive thought about as well. If this is really true than they take a big risk. Anyone can play this game, FBI, CIA, Interpol, Europol etc. so when they find out about this to be really true than Pix is gonna be in serious probz. Frustrating peeps so they buy is the same as "Blackmail".

Lowering screen brightness should help a ton. Otherwise, I second that you throw it in the toilet. My screen brightness is 51%. But screen brightness has nothin to do with the game causin lag but to save energy for ur battery. There are days with no lag but thats considerd to be luck these days. Fact is when u have days with no lag, such a good game server than why is 99% with lag. Wanna say on the non lag days there r less gamers active? I dont think so. In the 1st place this game is for mobile users so cant believe on x day(s) less users sudden.

And the technical reason for this would be? I wrote to them, they said they are unable to handle so many devices, as they are all different. Pls find below their response, check the last three sentences, the rest is bull?dookie?: "Hi! Sorry for such a late reply. To get rid of lags & freezes please try the following troubleshooting tips: - Make sure youâ??ve downloaded the game from the Google Play Store. We canâ??t verify the safety of versions downloaded from other sites. - Free up device memory by closing running unused background apps. - Increase storage memory by uninstalling apps you no longer need. Also, try transferring (or removing) videos and pictures from your device. Please note, War Robots runs best on devices that meet the following (minimum) specifications: - 1 GB of RAM (2GB or more recommended) - Android OS 4.1 or better - 960x640 screen resolution Thereâ??s now a stack of Android devices out there, some operate very differently than others. Please consult your device manual if additional adjustments are needed. Let us know if you need further assistance. " I use a game booster, maybe its better, cannot decide... Pixo also mentioned on fb it could be useful, check whether u can download such apps. When you run the game and check TaskManager it needs 256MB Ram but during gameplay probably 32MB more. They shud give the exact requirements on PlayStore so one knows if ur device can handle. Besides what Ive noticed when u check the WRapps Data. One should correct me if Iam wrong but War Robots 3.9 download was around 501 MB, you check now and its 561MB. So they implement new things, its not ur Data of all ur Stats etc.

It can partially be due to the device itself. For example I use the Samsung galaxy s6, which is known for getting hot in general. But it's never been much of an issue for me.
That is, until I played a bunch of team matches for 3 hours. It was so fun though, that I just ignored the fact that it was burning my left thumb. I now have a lovely little burn callous. What can I say? I'm dedicated/addicted haha!
Point being, you can't play that many games on your phone without it getting hot. It's simple common sense.

We already explained several times lag is possible to each and every device, and also that it does not depend on the time you play, e.g. today I have a serious lag from the beginning of the gameplay, not after 3 hours (I play on a tablet, have lots of memory). Those who play this game for a long time know what I am talking about. Sometimes its better, sometimes its worse. The guys above also gave a proper explanation for that (thaks to them, esp. for ckerazor), see "The thing is: War Robots is badly optimized. If at all. By the way, Adrian Chong mentioned in one of his videos that he heard rumors Pixo wants to switch engine to a better one, which would stop the lag. However, he was uncertain when this could happen. Maybe I ask him on Fb about it....

asieUnity Engine ain't bad per se. If you use it properly. There are a lot of games out there without any lags. I doubt that, if War Robots was ported to Unreal Engine 3 or even 4, the lags would be less.

Maybe I misunderstood you, if so, my apologies.

MY phone got hot, then YOUR game had lag. Nope, I still don't get the connection. Sorry but I didn't have lag that day. Just a freaking hot phone. Maybe I misunderstood you, if so, my apologies. In most of the cases lag goes hand in hand with overheating and game freezes, so there is a connection. This is why we started to talk about engine and lag, because they are connected. BTW, above there is a proper explanation about this (pls dont act dumb, scroll back and read my last post more carefully, the connection between them is explained there).

Since 3.9 War Robots uses more battery, the device is warmer than it used to be before 3.9.
It now consumes 20-23% of my battery per hour compared to 17-20% in 3.8.

TL;DR
Can't remember where I read this, but try turning off 'music' and 'sound' in the menu. It helped keep my devices cooler for a longer time. Helped my S7 Edge a lot, helped my old S5 a little.
YMMV

51% brightness i usally go 15 to 20%. as to OP's post when i first started playing my samsung s7 it used to heat up after about 30 min of play time but tht was a couple a years ago, but i just bought a tablet to Walking War Robots and only use tablets to play War Robots now. maybe invest in a tablet thats the route i would go. ultimately its up to you. What tablet (brand) u bought. I ask because when u have less lag (or heatzupz) than maybe I will consider. right now i use a Acer iconia one 10 when i play i have usally have no in game stutter or lag accept after a update. now there are problems with it such as slow hangar load an after i updated my tablet my bots torso will rotate 180° for no reason every now an then. $119.00 it is my general use tablet. battery run time for War Robots is great little heat but nothing to worry about wifi is also good except when more then 5 users are on then it tends to slow. the game loads up in about 1min. i also use a Samsung tab S an a tab A. the Tab S is just great running War Robots but it does heat up a little an i get a little stutter here an there but the mobile wifi is great an signal is always good the Tab S i got on sale for $379.00 which is good since i see them running about $410.00 and up. Tab A same thing but battery drains a little faster when playing War Robots this one i got for $169.00 Best Buy sale this past fall. hangars load fast and mobile wifi is great, screens are both10 inch when i do get a connect problem it only happens quickly an resolves it self fast. Tab S slows when 5 users are on an loads War Robots in about 35 to 45 seconds. Tab A loads War Robots in about 1 min an slows when 6 users are on. now i barely use these ones as the kids have taken them over, but when i did use them they were good. i also have a Huawei M3 this is my travel tablet it is just Amazing. now it does get a little warm after 5 or 6 matches an i notice it will fire every now an then on its own. wifi is top notch ,War Robots load up is 30-45sec depending on signal. this Tablet is my baby an i worry about scratches since kids run around my house so it stays up high and out of reach an see's use when i have to travel by myself or no kids are around. i have 2 I-Pads i got earlier this year for my kids but they go unused. i only used them a couple of times to play War Robots so i can't comment. now i only usally only play 5-7 matches a nite every now an then i will play more but never more then 2 an a half hours an tablets are always at full charge when i start and i am near my router or my mobile hotspot if i'am using one. hopes this helps results will vary.

BTW, above there is a proper explanation about this (pls dont act dumb, scroll back and read my last post more carefully, the connection between them is explained there). Yep, sure. Got it. The first time I read it. Please don't act annoying. In my post, I mentioned my phone is A Samsung s6, right? It's a few generations old now. I also mentioned that I knew it had a reputation for heating up, before I bought it, right? "Generally spoken, newer processors (CPUs, GPUs, SOCs) are composed of smaller parts which reduces their energy consumption and thus, heat generation in the devices we use." That quote was written by ckerazor, the same person whom you quoted in your posts above. I figured since you had afforded that person some respect already, the point would be better received than by one you perceive as "acting dumb". As for reading more carefully what you had written, I didn't agree with your hypothesis the first time I read it, because your argument was not well supported. A reply from Pixonic does not an argument stand. And lastly, there was absolutely no reason to grab my post and respond to it as if it were argumentative in your objective to this discussion. Nor was there any reason to talk down to me. You may not have realized that you did this, but you did. Or maybe you knew full well. In which case, hope it was fun.

First Don't jump my 「bum-bum」 because it's an old thread it's still relevant Now the actual post Guys I have an iPhone 13 and War Robots absolutely sets it on fire I'm honestly surprised it hasn't literally happened yet What the hell is wrong with War Robots and why haven't they fixed it 1 match! I'm not joking at all A single match made it worthy as cookware What the hell

I brought the same up on another thread. I'm on a Android, and an note 9(old, I know). Its seems to come and go with me. Have tried putting in a ticket through Pix. Always closed with no response. I've also noticed heat with some other games as well.
