Same here, it seems to get really bad on smaller maps with a lot of rockets going off. I just take a 2-3 minutes to relax after match and device will cool down.

Recently my device is heating up when playin. On some occasion the War Robots close itself because too much heatin up. Iam Android user. Anyone has the same probz...? Every device heats up while playing games. Due to high density batteries, we can have mobile devices using three to ten watts of energy and of course this is enough to heat up every fanless device. The latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 is faster than the older SOCs, yet using less energy due to a modern fabrication process. So if buying a new device, consider one which is using this SOC(System on a Chip). Also buy a device which is build of metal and has a metal backplate. Glass or plastic are not very good at conducting heat. The 845 is about 1/3 faster than the 835. A new device with this SOC will be about 500 USD.

Dont u think the device heating up is probably caused by the starters pack? Just a guess.....

From personal experience, it matters not if I have 200 light weapons in stock, or the actual 15? I have leveled. No difference at all regarding heat or battery life, but a slightly longer time till the inventory loads when you open it. Generally spoken, newer processors (CPUs, GPUs, SOCs) are composed of smaller parts which reduces their energy consumption and thus, heat generation in the devices we use. If you have further questions, feel free to drop me a PN as this is rather offtopic, I assume.

I launch my games with Clean Master for my S7, if you run Android, download it and launch it through the Game Master tool.
It also has a CPU cooler, which should help.

Try to fully charge your phone and remove your cover meanwhile you play. Now if that doesn't help...Either upgrade your phone or just throw it in the toilet

One more thing you can do on android is to go in task manager and clear every tasks (running apps) then launch straight into War Robots after that. Don't know about ios but should be some app you can get in iso to clear all running app tasks.
I used to use this trick to run some games that would lag and heat up phone if there stuff is running in background.

What kind of iPhone/iPad are you currently using?

Lowering screen brightness should help a ton. Otherwise, I second that you throw it in the toilet.

But its not the weak battery I had causin the heatingUp. Seems more people r experiencing this problem. Its caused imo by the Gameserver so hope Pix to solve this as soon possible. At the moment when I play its only 3matches (30min) than close the game for a device cooldown.

It has nothing to do with the device, its not the device's fault, dont believe this. Search this forum, we all have this sometimes, android/ios, samsung/asus, etc. Its sometimes freaking horrible.

And the technical reason for this would be? I wrote to them, they said they are unable to handle so many devices, as they are all different. Pls find below their response, check the last three sentences, the rest is bull「dookie」: "Hi! Sorry for such a late reply. To get rid of lags & freezes please try the following troubleshooting tips: - Make sure youâve downloaded the game from the Google Play Store. We canât verify the safety of versions downloaded from other sites. - Free up device memory by closing running unused background apps. - Increase storage memory by uninstalling apps you no longer need. Also, try transferring (or removing) videos and pictures from your device. Please note, War Robots runs best on devices that meet the following (minimum) specifications: - 1 GB of RAM (2GB or more recommended) - Android OS 4.1 or better - 960x640 screen resolution Thereâs now a stack of Android devices out there, some operate very differently than others. Please consult your device manual if additional adjustments are needed. Let us know if you need further assistance. " I use a game booster, maybe its better, cannot decide... Pixo also mentioned on fb it could be useful, check whether u can download such apps.
