Your just making it harder for me to figure out 「whiskey tango foxtrot」 is going on when I look at your hanger pre game.
Buy new weapons for six pack, none of them are difficult to acquire. Orks can be had in a week or two and tarans are a time game. If you really don't want to pay for them silver chests are a thing and I have gotten one of each in the last two weeks from chests (along with yet another Gekko)

It's the psychological effect of getting killed by any (green) weapons. We play 6 pack to get away from P2W and their annoying MK2 anything. I don't get it, it costs 500 Au to enhance, why not use that gold to buy the weapons in the first place.

I can just pay 1000au and some Ag as oppose to 10k of WSP. Which furthers my primary hangar
I don't need 12 Tarans in my inventory.
When I have the resources to take the Tarans back to lvl 10+ MK2, I will strip them from the 6 pack and level them up to my regular hangar. Hopefully i'll have plenty of WSP at that time
*Is not someone checking the weapons/bot strength?

I get where you are coming from Domino ... and have asked about it in the past... but the above posters have a point.
This league is in existence because of MK2 and Components being introduced.
IMPO, it's not an issue... (but I don't have any say in the matter) because in effect, the performance of the weapons would be the same.
HOWEVER - I can see a reason or two not to allow it, as well:
I think about it like this... getting a game going smoothly is already a challenge... what with getting everyone to join the teams on time and ready to go (yes, even after the league existing for several months... herding cats is a close analogy). IF we have to take time to go over everyone's hangar as well (which is the job of the opposite team, no officiator/referee is able to do so, as things stand)... then it's going to add complication. Not to mention that it would be easier to sneak Mk 2 weapons in and back out again before the hangars were able to be checked in between games. There are ways. The whole point of the 6PL is to uncomplicate and rewind the game to it's pure essentials.
While getting as many folk into it as possible is one of the goals... the overwhelming sentiment that I have seen/heard is that even level 4 Mk2 is not going to happen anytime soon.
An alternative - Many folk have started 6PL accounts and just played it a few weeks, gathering freebies and prizes and spending all IG currency on 6PL bots and weapons. It doesn't take long to amass a decent amount of inventory focused on 6PL. Especially once the WS gets all slots unlocked and you get all of those bonuses... up until WS level 15 WSPs just flow in. It may not be an excellent "6PL meta" hangar, but it should compete and be enough to get started in Fight Nights and get on a league team. Hell, Puns are sort of a mainstay in 6PL. Easy to get and effective. Orks can be won or collected over time. Hell, Lances and Furies are in BRONZE chests now!

My honest opinion, we should allow one mk2 bot at level 4 per hangar.
Bots are more expensive and will lose speed compared to a purist’s level 6.
Imagine you own a single fury, it sits at level 11 or 12 because it is out of Fashion in PEM ( Pixo’s Everchanging Meta).
You don’t feel like splashing 5000 gold for a bot, is the tradeoff of say 30M silver and 500 gold worth it?
IMHO, yes. One of many examples. I can see allowing it for 5000 gold bots (lance, fury and more recently butch)

I know I have an account on steam. no money. 120 victories.
5 slots, 2 lances, butch, db griffin and punisher griffin. The use of silver and bronze chests for low level players is ridiculous now.
