I'm a little younger than these guys, and I'll say this. Well read and book smart are fickle horses to ride when dealing with someone who's learned by mucking about in what the activities are, right here, right now for a decade.
The secondary addendum was to specify, explicitly what was meant by progression. Not even a bad translation makes up for a focus answer that completely ignores the explicit contexts of the query.

They know exactly what they are doing. Nothing in politics happens by coincidence.
EDIT: Case amd point, while not answering the question, shocktrain is mentioned 3 times in the response. 3/5 replies concerning my question in the comments had to do with the mention of Shocktrain, instead of the questiom not being answered. That is what we call BUZZ WORDS (BAD PUN, STILL VALID )

The aquisition of new items being sped up, just means that it will be a game of "who sank the most upgrade time into their bulg's and spectres", with the same stagnant meta at the top. This would only work if they were able to be liberal in their stat tweaks, but their solution instead is Modules.
Obsolescence is fine so long as the new product is only a small premium above the previous, or if the previous is discontinued after the new product arises.
Instead we are presented with the last year and a half of the last MM. Rhinos were king. Lances and Galahads moved in and took over for a premium.
Now it is dash and descend. The only difference, is that these obviously imbalanced mechanics will now appear everywhere that isn't private league. How is that an improvement?

They have dug themselves into a corner that they do not know how to get out of, and are hoping that their vast and far of vision, will sit well with whatever playerbase they have left, i/when they get there, if/when anyone remains.
