Just wondering if it's me or if anyone else is noticing. This weekend I've actually been getting good matches. Like, really good. No more 12/12 mismatches.
Has anyone else has noticed anything changing?

Your alone in your notices. I'm constantly vs 12/12 max hangers and 「really happy」 clans like coc or whatever they called whom tank their win rates to flatten us plebs.

I never see 12/12, my hangar, highest bot 7, weapons 8.

Most of my games are winnable, but depends on team mates, so many still don,t cap beacons and only have 3 slots

Was running at 48% win rate early this morning. Started getting good even matches for most of the morning. Hit 62% win rate. Then out of nowhere comes lvl 10,11,12 bots with the same level of weapons. Now tonight am still facing that level and win rate has dropped to 50%. From the last few matches I've run solo, I expect the downward trend to continue.
Last match was simply overwhelming. All lvl 12 opponents, all lvl 12 weapons. And how did they crank out so many frickin' Lancelot with Orkan's and Ancile? (Don't answer, was rhetorical.)
Made no changes to hangar, no upgrades completed. Still running 4 lvl 8 bots, 1 lvl 7. All have lvl 9 weapons.
Android platform.
So back to it and see what happens. Do I really want to? Well heck yeah!
Additional info: Ran 3 more sides balanced out again, couple 1 or 2 levels of bots and weapons above me, but that is cool. I like that. Won 2 lost 1. So I guess the new MM is working, or not. Heck I don't know, just blowing up bots and having fun.

I'm close to a 10/10 hangar and on the whole the matches have been pretty good for a week or so. The top damage dealers in each team tend to be at or close to 12/12 and when you get two or three on one team it is a trouncing, but that is rare and overall teams are pretty evenly balanced around the same levels as me and I'm not seeing hangars below 9/9 anymore.
My biggest gripe now is the loss of variety as I can only play my top hangar and I'm not a huge fan of the slower, long range games that you get in TT.

I was stuck in lag hell on Asian server all weekend. So close to rage quitting forever. Same thing here on the server hopping. I noticed majority of my matches were on either the Asian or EU server. Almost impossible to make a DB strike when that happens. |

My matches have evened out for a while... sure there are some bad ones, but overall it is a better experience lately. Much better than the old MM. My damage has actually been creeping up, and I don't run my biggest and baddest bots. Weapons, yeah, but I stay in Mediums most of the time, or less-than-optimal-meta setups(like Zeus Gekko Leo rn) for Heavies. I have had more nail biting, scrap till the end, last bot standing, bodies all over the ground matches in the past 2 weeks than I had the whole time in the old MM. Even when a couple of 12/12s show up... I can still be a boon to my team in my 8/9 meds and lights, and my 7/9 heavies. It takes a lot longer to kill them, but as long as I play smartly, I can usually make an impact.
I don't get first all the time. I don't get Au all the time. I'm OK with that, as the new league system with its scaling rewards sits over the update horizon... I hope.
Either way, I hope it gets to be more fun for those who aren't enjoying it anymore... as I am loving the solo play, now... So yes, OP, I see better matches.

On Android, I ride the tides. I have a 7/8 hangar. Three times now I have hit about 66% win rate, and then get about a day+ of very strong level 10/11/12 opponents, and then when my win rate hits 36% or so, and I get a return of level 7/8/9 matchups for a few days. Win rate climbs again, and we repeat the cycle. I am fine with it. Some days I fight close battles, and then other days I work on trying to improve while being outgunned.
My damage and kills fluctuate slightly, but stay right around the same ~3 and ~350k.

I've noticed things stabilizing some. In most matches the top guys are pretty close, and down the line. There are outliers here and there, and the freaking tankers, of course, but it's getting better. Win % in the 50s.
It seems it's best if bot/weapon lvl is within 2, ie 8/10, 7/9. Just keep hammering.

I have been riding the waves of the MM, for the past 5-6 days I have been on the + side of 50% War Robots!!! Which is suprising the hell out of me. I hit 60%, my high since new MM and have been waiting for my lashing back to the 30's but it has not happened as of yet (knocking on wood loudly!!). The matches range from equal hangers up to (1-2) 12/12 pilots. Not as severly out-of-balance as it had been. My experience as of late.
My hanger is 8.5/9.
Been playing solo as of late.

I've gotten smurfier. I replaced a Hellfire Rhino with a magnum Stalker. I don't use my Fury at all. (I only play half the maps these days.)
I make a point to focus more on beacons than damage, though damage is still important to my approach to the game. When I lose, I tend not to lead in damage anymore.
Overall my matches are easier (saw a red Cossack today for the first time in forever). My damage has been creeping up but thanks to when I lose, I *lose*, the higher average damage doesn't seem to hurt. My win % has been hovering around 60 for a few days.
BTW, hangar is 8.4/10. Damage ~450k.
Yes I replaced a Rhino with a Stalker and since then my average damage has gone slightly up. Beacons definitely up. Opposition feels weaker.

Exactly the opposite ! I hover around 50% win mark. I run 5 slot lvl 8 bots with lvl 8/9 weapons. Whether or not I win depends for a large part on the team mates I get. Example reds lvl8+: rhinos, griffs, galahad, carnage vs blue max lvl 8 vityaz, patton, cossack, boa, galahad  We never held more than 1 beacon and I capped 6 ! These kind of MM makes ppl bail out (I didn't) and than there is talk about punishmental for leaving early ? First create FAIR matches than talk about punishment |

Well this should be interesting based on this hypothesis of dam basesd MM. I am still above the 50% mark and my dam has steadily increased to almost 400k. I had been running around 330-350k.
I should be matched against better equipment once my dam breaks the 400k mark??
I will follow up post when I do.

After you removed the Rhino... are there any other Heavies in your Hangar? I don't know if I am imagining it, but I feel pretty sure that I see a difference from an all Medium hanger and one with a Heavy in it.... but I haven't tested since the leveling out that I see now. The difference was in the type opposition that I was seeing. Slightly easier, overall. |
