Not meant to be a complaint, just want to warn my friends in RL and in this forum.
After watching this guy open several gold chests in a row, on the following YouTube video, I figured it's a really bad time to open gold chests. Watching my daughter's recording of her opening 2 gold chests also confirmed it. (I didn't get to warn her in time) ?
Unless you want silver, gold, and something dumb like 2000 gust components (instead of the 20,000 gust that used to be there!), then go for it.
I think your results will be better after the birthday event begins. That's my gut feeling anyway.
(I don't recall posting a link before so hope I did this right?)

Right now my plan is to use all ads and keys to open bronze chests and use those Au to buy WSP and components in daily deals. In this way, I can at least target for sth I want.
If I can fill up a SC on the way, then why not, that’s a bonus, though much less than prior-3.8. I had been getting things like a Galahad from SC anyway, even from pre-3.8 SC ...

They give more battle reward keys now. You get to open more gold chests but the prizes are worse and the superchest takes 40-70% longer to get. Pixonic spends so much energy to make it difficult to tell if things are better or worse. History tells us that we are worse off. |

Then use the gold to play royale, where at least you can pick the components you want to gamble for. EDIT: new video says event starts 3 May and that Royale Tokens will start. This means that a lot of the gold we are currently seeing from bronze and silver chests will get replaced with tokens for royale. |

I opened 50 bronze chests with results:
-200 keys back
-about 200 gold
-Stalker
I would go for bronze chests only (at least now, when there are no tokens) - you have guaranteed gold, and gold is always useful.

I always forget, all keys are reverted to gold when the black market season ends...in 2 days. Right?
So if the event doesn't start until that time, I will spin what I have on silver chests.
Unless I need a little gold, without risking it to chance. Does anyone know the keys-to-gold ratio Pixonic uses?

Lately I've been getting nothing but Au on any chests spin.Last counting I got Au on 8 spins in a row (silver and bronze)and 18 out of 20 (The other 2 were Ag).Pix must have figured this is to their advantage somehow. Also the spins lag stutter and jump to the next box after stopping,so forgive my suspicion of legitimacy.

Here it is from the website, published drop rates will be updated once the tokens hit. End result I am sure will be that we all stop winning 3-10 gold per bronze chest as Pixo will remove anything that is accidentally too generous (free premium from royale is the clearest example). i also learnt something new - I thought they had reduced the value of the superchest prizes, but it seems in Pixo’s world the “value” of a superchest has gone up...  |

Going with Bronze chests, no disappointment so far.
A stable inflow of Au and Ag (through bots sold), I would say on average more Au than from dailies.
Though they lowered the amount of components in deals, I still find it the best way to get the gear I want.

opened 7 bronze just a bit ago  the 7th was 8AU. keeping the Gareth, i can now run a full Gary hangar once i lvl this one to 9. sellin everything else |

wow nice rolls. I had some good luck tonight too.. opened a chest 100keys, next one orkan (oh ya, that's what im needing gold for  ) then another 100keys.. then 10 gold then a aphid.. Pretty happy.. I decided to open the 200keys worth but just came up with a pin, some silver, and I dunno how much gold.. Guess the hot streak cooled down just as fast as it flared up, Hope to win another orkan by monday I should have my kumi by then, need 1 more ork. |

best rolls so far, please note it happened only once.
bronze = griffin - best average roll is Golem, good selling value...
silver = 1000 keys
gold = 1M silver QQ (being the equivalent of 100 bronze giving 10K Ag each, this sucks... )

Looks like another big shift, not just including new tokens. Gold chests (reported by pix) now have 2000 components. We should all just probably hold off until a YouTuber sorts it out again.
