I said this in a different string. Who peruses the profanity Vulgate, and decides what is profane, and what terms to use as substitutes? Me, I had no objection to firetrucks or fluffy bunnies, as long as there were no fluffy bunnies driving the firetrucks while eating falafels. The one that caught my attention was ?dookie delivery chute?. Now that was original.

That is a list that all Mods and Admins can review and add to if necessary. I’ve added to it before when I’ve found people done stuff to get around the filter.
I also did it when I tweaked the filter to convert S uper-H ero into El Jefe.

The fluffy bunnies have run amok over there. Silly bunnies, fluffernutters are for...ah,never mind! Tapatalk somehow circumvents the filter when reading the original message. Once someone responds to it, the filter is in place in any subsequent messages. Over the weekend, a user dropped the F bomb in a response to me. Reading it on Tapatalk, I, too, was somewhat surprised that the forum hadn't caught it. It did, though, in subsequent messages. I guess if you want the poo-poo, the whole poo-poo, and nothing but the poo-poo, you need to read through Tapatalk. |
