I think it all sounds great! I love the idea of the medic bot. And health bars for allies are coming. Perfect! And modules are going to bring an entire new set of possibilities for my hangar. Yay! I like change though.

How well did ancile schutzes work? Does anyone still use them regularly? They were fun a couple of times but it got old when pilots earned nothing while the rest of the team scored. Betcha the same thing will happen for the new medic bots. Btw, were schutzes pulled from the lineup because the medic bots are Schutzes v2.0?

What about squad consisting of 3 medium range guard bots and 3 medic bots. Medics will heal all the damage done to the guards and to them. Not possible to kill.
You would have to focus fire on 1 bot and take it down quickly before it will be healed.

I think next type category of items to purchase will be Ammunition.
You will pay premium to have silver bullets to your Punishers and you will load Orkans chock full of aspen pegs.

Then for Halloween we will have event called "Buffy the vampire slayer".

I am. There are few reasons:
1. Players here are smart and persistent. They find weaknesses in the game rules to exploit it.
2. I've seen few different games where a "healers squad" made close to impossible kill them.

I prefer to be pessimistic then be happy.

On the flip side, 31k WSP if converted 1:1 to BM keys is like 3 super chests! That would be 3 chances at something good vs more buggy weapons. But I doubt it'll be a 1:1 conversion. If it were, I personally would start stockpiling WSP!

And this is exactly why we won't see STs go away. 

Walking up to the Mech dealer, the Salesman is standing on a podium, giving his spiel.... in front of a covered, unknown, bot.

"Look pilots, are ShockTrains keepin' you down?  Tired of their OP-ness?  Weeelllll... have I got a bot for you!"

Salesman pulls a rope that lifts the cover off of the new Medic bot.

Crowd murmurs... not very excitedly.
 
"Step right up to the Healingest, Long Lastiest, most Awesomest bot of them all!  For just 333$, for 5000 components, you too can get this direct counter to the EEEEEviiiiiillllll ShockTrain... even if the ST is completely imbalanced and uses your own team tactics against you in a completely fantastic, or even magical, way!"
 
"'How', you ask?"

Crowd stares at him, not asking how.

"Behold... The CLERIC, or Medic, as we like to call it, is even more Magical!  And soon, we will add another Energy bar to the HUD!  Not another currency as it's obvious that you all don't spend more on them, ya stingy bastages, instead, a MANA BAR!  You can use MANA to heal your mates and truly become a support bot!  But not yet... as we have to pass off this abomination, I mean, this "revolutionary idea" as a good one, first.  Then we can change it a few updates later... which will open the door for more, bigger, better, and of course, MORE AWESOMER spells!  Like Whirlwind!  Or Teleportation!  The sky is the limit!  It's like Dungeons and Mechs!  It'll be AWESOME!"
 
....crickets from the crowd except for an excited question from the one D&D guy that went to the wrong dealership:  "Wooohooo!  What will the level cap be??!"

I run shock trains, I don’t particularly want a medic bot, no need TBH.

I would however appreciate a ‘Priest’ bot, comes around offers forgiveness and absolution, give a bit of a sermon, cleanse the soul and all that.
I think he should be able to absolve campers in general, except Hydra pilots, they can just burn in their own corner of hell.

Truth... and please note that while I don't particularly want any medic bots and all of that, it's because there are core gameplay issues that NEED to be addressed first in my mind... not that the idea in and of itself, is the issue.  My reason to not want the Medic bot is basically that it will be one more "balance" applied to the argument about the imbalance of the STs.  I HATE their chain mechanic and wish that one weapon would burn in digital hell along with ET the Atari game. 

I am truly on board with folks running what they want to run as I have long been an experimenter and can't keep my hangar the same from one week to the next.  Fun is the #1 concern.  STs, however, should never have even been introduced.  I can't blame the folks who run them, however.

And thank you for the compliment!  But no, I don't write anything for a job.  However, I do have this book idea... but time is so damned elusive once a FT job and family are in full bloom.  Books need time.  So... I still have not written a thing.  :'-(

Simply based on Pix’s actions over the past 18 months, I just can’t believe this thing would not be about monetizing the game even further, and as a consequence messing up what’s left of the gameplay even more. People have been given a bit of slack lately with more liberal distribution of components, but that’s just to hook us again. Next squeeze is already around the corner, and my guess is WSP 2.0 is about setting the scene for it. I hope I’m wrong of course, but based on past events there is little else one can reasonably expect.
