These tablets are meant for education, but you can use them as a general purpose tablet using Android apps and the Chrome browser. The Chrome browser used in these tablets are the desktop one, not the mobile one, which if you like, can be installed separately. (You can install other Android browsers if you like.)
Will this run War Robots and other Android games?
My previous experience with Chromebooks and War Robots, is yes, and so I have a high confidence that this tablet can. Some of the Android games may not run on an Intel processor like used in many Chromebooks, but the tablet is using an ARM chip. This processor may run War Robots but there is a question about its performance as this isn't the state of the art. The processor is the same used on my Samsung Chromebook Plus, so I should check it out there. The last time it has shadows enabled, there was some lag, but recently I noticed that shadows are gone in two of my Android tablets, and the performance has improved remarkably. War Robots will also work on touchscreen Chromebooks that have an Intel processor.
If you install War Robots on a ChromeOS device, your Android Google Play account will sync into it. So you will be playing from the same account as your phone or tablet, and if you go back to your phone or tablet, your latest current state of your game will sync back to your handset.
My dream choice for a ChromeOS tablet that can play War Robots is one that has a Qualcomm 845, or perhaps the next generation Mediatek chip.
One advantage of ChromeOS over Android is that ChromeOS is ChromeOS. It doesn't have any variation from one device or another, and Google directly updates it every week, and updates are fast and painless.
