Gotta say it makes me a little sad to see players like him - names that have been around for a while and were the source of many "Oh crap!" moments for me - getting on the T/C bandwagon.
I myself am now in E1, but I drifted down slowly from Champion after deciding to run a meta hangar from 2 years ago cuz i LIKE it. I've been running 3 Geps and 2 Rogs for a couple weeks now, so for a while i was getting hammered pretty bad. Wins were around 34%, but those are the bots I used during my favorite phase of this game, and i decided stats be damned, I'm going to play what I like.
Also, I have no intention of suddenly bulking up and crushing everything. Any changes to my hangar will be gradual. I may swap my Kumi in for one of the Geps at some point. Need to get used to that thing. I still prefer my Rogs by a wide margin.

Then it's painful when we can't get enough gold/silver/keys to get a new shiny thing. Pixonic plays this really well. I can see a long term strategy in their give aways. First K-bots appeared and they are great knife fighters. Only Kumiho and Haechin can be good close range fighters (for me Bulgasari has too long ability cooldown). Then we have loads of medium range plasma weapons to hit those unshielded K-bots. What do you think - what will be next? Shielded bots or long range weapons to kill those medium range bots? |

so much for killing the unshielded bots....cant get 1 hp off lancelot and that bot which raises his shield and at times on griff and raijin along with some other bots as well.
new player here....so still figuring things out....but this is BS. as it is orkans are OP and now the energy/plasma cant hit many of the old bots at all.
seems like pixonic wants to keep the old bots and orkans alive forever while milking the players with the korean bots & new weps lol.
p.s. any input on why i damage some griffins etc and cant damage others griffins would be MUCH appreciated ( and they dont have any shield like ecu & trajectory is not blocked by obstacles/terrains ).

Either lag or the taran bug. There is a bug with Tarans where opponents with their back to a wall can sometimes not be hit. Pix normal timeframe for a fix to a non premium weapon is around 18ish months so just be aware of it. Often switching to another target, then back to the original one sometimes fixes it. |

appreciate the reply flash  this happens against many bots like griffin, raijin etc....eg; raijin and you in same position....attack each other and do damage, wep cooldown is over and u fire with 0 damage on raijin whereas you both are in the same position as before....and its happening to me a LOT with numerous different bots  taran bug....thanks for the info m8 gotta be the taran bug as this is not the lag thingy. will try too keep it in mind next time and switch targets (fingers crossed). Q ) why do players complain about shocktrain etc. why does'nt anybody complain about orkans or tarans ? those are the weps with high dps. the laser/energy weps are not high on damage....and in case they are, the 3 sec lockon means u r dead by the time you get a lockon lol. why complain about the new weps....i see the old orkans/tarans as the OP weps. p.s. excuse my ignorance guys.....been playing for only 10-15 days. many things i say will make you slap your forehead lol....but bear with this fresher |

The problem is, we get hammered pretty bad running alternative builds. My win rate dropped to 34% after running unusual and slightly underlevelled builds in Expert 1/2. Robots like a level 9 Rhino simply have no place in leagues where level12 Orkan Dash are the norm (and not the tankers). And after dropping down to Expert 3, I can run stuff like that but most teammates are idiots once again Seems that everyone is now in Expert, even players that would have been in mid silver a year ago. |

The instant damage and bounce mechanic of shocktrain gives it a higher potential DPS than tarans or orkans from 500m. The bounce mechanic alone allows the shocktrain to do double the damage listed per shot if it chains to 6 players, and the chain can go beyond the weapon's listed range of 500m. |

on an average....i usually get 2 players. at times 1 and at times 3....so it evens out too 2 players. wish the chaining of 6 players happens (its gonna be a really fond memory). but i do get the point that potentially it can do more if more targets are chained. (me likey this thingy....except when i am subjected to it lol). i am on the verge of taking off all zeus/scrouge/shocktrain etc....they don't do any damage at times been observing it as much as i consciously can....and unfortunately its not the taran bug. even on carnage (and i know this bot cause i have played on it and it cannot have tarans as it does not have medium wep slots), hit him with these weps but 0 damage vortex is fine...it has never ever done 0 damage on any bots (as far as i recall). its now getting really annoying....at this rate; even with 6 players chained it won't suffice due to the 0 damage on many off them....getting really frustrating now |
