My clan: WHO ?
My hanger (10/11/12):
- Leo - Molots/Tempest
- Leo - Punishers/Tempest
- Lance - Tarans/Ancile
- Galahad - PunisherT/Magnums
- Haechi - Orkans
I'd prefer to use Hover (I run it with Molots), but TDM...
A few notes on most of the threads, and discussions:
- Pixonic (obviously) aims to monetize (duh), and OP gear sells well (obviously), as soon as a new bot/weapon appears, soon (within several days of release) there are hangers full of them, mk2 maxed...good for Pixonic and their cash flow, this is a huge price for something that may not be here 6 months from now (or tomorrow)...these are hangers worth thousands (or tens of thousands)
- I pay for $1.99 and $0.99 gold deals (4th, 5th slots and speed ups), maybe I'll buy premium when I run out of silver (soon)
- I'll probably get a 2nd hanger once I get the above to 12/12, dividing larger/smaller maps...I don't care if crash and burn TDM, I play over-aggressive in this mode to get out of it sooner
- Tankers disrupt the balance of a game (especially TDM), but this cuts both ways, sometimes blue benefits from the imbalance
- I tanked to get Haechi (pure douchebag move)....moved back up after the event (Expert III/II, reached I once but couldn't hang), in December I was still in Silver or maybe Gold, and couldn't complete the event chain, respect to those who can at their level
- Some players are oblivious to the idea of ditching bots (e.g. red has 4 or 5 beacons capped, and the zenit/noricum Natasha played for 7+ min continues to rain worthless artillery) - this and those completely oblivious to capping a nearby beacon are my only real complaints of in game play...shocktrains suck, but hopefully Pix will tone them down, who knows
- Wins/losses seems to come in streaks....I'll get flattened 5+ games in a row, then blues dominate 5+ games, does this happen to anyone else?
- It is a great experience to get those "come from way behind" wins....the best moments I've had with the game, aside from meeting fellow clan members, is coming from way behind to get a last moment victory...ahhhh, so cool when that happens
One thing I fail to understand, is, what I think are referred as faders. They don't tank hard, their play is normal for a minute or so, but they finish with tiny damage and they have hangers way waaay better than mine. Why waste the time? There are so many hardcore tankers (inside event time I'd say 50%, outside 10-15% frequency, guessing), I don't understand what they're trying to achieve going through the "league-reducing" loophole this way...any idea?
Bottom line, this game is a lot of fun, I haven't been playing long enough to remember "the good old days". Thanks for reading.
